Good quality chair but strictly a lounger, not great for sleep
Tried this for my husband (200+ lbs. 5'9" ) as a temporary recovery aid after an injury--something he could sleep in sitting up, and easy to move around an apartment space. It's a sturdy and great chair, and very portable, however didn't work for him to sleep in. Was troublesome for him to get into, for one thing. And then not enough support along the sides for his arms. I have dozed off in it myself, 5'6" fully reclined and if you add lots of pillows, it kind of works. You never get fully flat reclined either, not flat like a cot or something, but goes pretty low. Have it folded up now which it does nicely, for some day when we have a yard or patio for it. Will be great for that and seems pretty durable.

Perfect, except for the screeching
This chair gives excellent, comfortable support, and is easy to adjust, but I can't get rid of the screeching when I change the position.

Great chair
This is my first real Lafuma chair after owning several of the knock offs. Over time I'm hoping that issues such as rust will not be as prevalent. The one thing that was almost immediately needed was applying a silicon lubricant to the various joints. It was quite squeaky right out of the box, but is nice and quiet now.

Rust
The Lafuma outdoor gravity chair is experiencing rusting of hardware as we see orange spots on our travertine tile where the chair is located. We ordered a second chair for a family member and we are not convinced this is a an outdoor furniture piece that will withstand outdoor weather conditions (as stated to do so). We are concerned for safety of using the chair overtime due to rusting hardware.

Nice European design and light weight
It's lighter than my other gravity lounger, and the fabric is easy to get fresh air through. Should be quicker to dry out. The way the plastic snaps work on the frame of it is kind of high tech and I don't know how long they will really last but so far so good. I'll take this chair on the road with me for the reason that it's lighter weight and easier to handle.

Great Zero Gravity chair for 6’4”
I had surgery on both legs 6 years ago to improve circulation and it did. Over time the issue can return and it did in my left leg. Right leg is still flawless. Left has issues. This of course showed up after I had donated my last Futura Lafuma. This one is better. The clips make it sturdier for me (I’m 196 lbs). The chair is completely stable My feet are above my heart and my left leg is recovering.

Doesn't feel like enough recline
EDIT: Posted a question on here about other models that might lay back. Lafuma answered that ALL are 127 degree. SO the answer appears to be the Lafuma no longer makes a chair that lays back as far or puts your feet as high as they used to. Mind you I ordered this new one within a week of the old one dying so I DO know what the difference feels like. Sorry to hear this is what they offer now. Not near as comfortable. I had my first Lafuma for 5 years and loved it. This model looked like that one - though the arm structure and other frame connections changed. I believe the arm structure is a great improvement as that is the area that finally gave up on the old model. BUT this does not really lay back to what I would consider zero gravity. My feet are too low and the back remains too high. As sturdy as it all feels I may have to return it. I keep trying to lay back in it but my whole body is feeling the difference and it is just not as relaxing for my back. Not sure if a different model would do better or if this new frame structure would mean none lay out enough. So sad.

Great for small or large spaces, sturdy, lightweight. Perfection
Perfect seating option for a small lanai or patio. When the recliner is in upright position it takes as much space as a normal chair. As you lean back the foot rest comes up to support your legs. I did find that I didn't have enough lumbar support. However. the fabric is so comfortable that I really didn't need a head pillow so, voila!, I'm using the detachable pillow as a lumbar support. This chair is all about options. Lots of positions from sitting upright to reclining. The position is easily locked when you find your sweet spot. I have an adjustable bed and a bad back so I'm used to the zero gravity feature. That was one of the biggest selling points when I looked at recliners. I was concerned about how much visual space a recliner would take up in my limited space. Try almost zip, nada. The fabric is sturdy but virtually transparent like a sunshade. You can see right thru. This was so unexpected and a visual delight. I love the seigle color (French for "rye"). My style is minimalist contemporary. It's like someone designed this chair just for me. There is a 2 year warranty so I'm glad I didn't pay for extra coverage. I bought 2 chairs. One arrived in 3 days. The 2nd should be here in 5 days. The chair was easy to unpack and intuitive to set up. No assembly required. I almost forgot to mention that the recliner easily folds up if you need to get it out of the way. It's not compact enough for the beach (in my opinion) but I bought it to use in my home. As I write this we are anticipating a possible hurricane. If you've ever had to lug all your outdoor furniture into your indoor living space then you know how happy I am that I can fold my recliners and lean against a wall taking up minimal space. I also love that this chair is still made in France and that it sells at a very reasonable price point. I'll update the review for sturdiness after I've had it for a while

Worth the risk
After a long and hard research, I decided to take a risk to purchase this chair. I use it everyday, worth it. Love the fabric, color, and convenient storage. The reason for four stars is that in its chair position, the back is not comfortable. My head is forced to tilt forward. But, in other lying positions, it's good. I wouldn't buy another, one is enough for its imperfection.

Chair locks don't work
Just got my chair after being on backorder for weeks. Very comfortable and is really nice to sit in. The only problem is the locks that are suppose to keep you in place don't work. When reclining in the chair for a few minutes the locks keep slipping. The chair doesn't appear broken but this is irritating enough that I might end up returning.

La couleur est différente de celle qui est présenté dans votre annonce.

Great, comfy, cool sun lounge
This is our 2nd set. First lasted 15 years. None of the imitation brands are anywhere as comfy. Wasted a lot of money trying them. Worth the ridiculously high price. Only complaint is that the head rest is not padded enough. A towel fixes that.
