Perfect!

Absolutely beautiful in the small 1940's size kitchen. If this were a larger space I Might be concerned about size and spacial balance. Since I wanted more warmth I purchased in polished nickle and couldn't be more thrilled. After reading reviews I was concerned about amount of water flow. Wish I could take the worry back; it's excellent. The only issue was the hand sprayer (it is very light) which caused it to not sit in the holder straight. The Plumber put a weight on the hose and it now is perfect. I purchased from Amazon as an open box and saved a bundle! Perfect condition and function. Again; VERY HAPPY!

Disappointed

For the price of this I was expecting higher quality. The sprayer is very light weight and cheap feeling. The faucet itself isn’t as cheap feeling as the sprayer but not near what it should be. I’m very disappointed in this as it is no better than the bottom of the line Home Depot faucets.

Terrible, do not purchase. Nothing but problems.

The faucet looks great however the cartridge has a restriction that only allows so much Hot water to pass. There is a little plug where you cannot adjust the cartridge to allow additional hot water. The only thing you can do is turn up your water heater temperature which means all other faucets will be set to scalding. The hand spray leaks terribly when you turn the faucet on. It’s a beautiful faucet but extremely disappointing and extremely faulty. I would not recommend this product, at all. We purchased the Delta Cassidy for the bathrooms and Delta has a superior product to the Moen.

Beautiful faucet that may not fit your workflow.

The unit is attractive and looks to be well made. The first one came and leaked from both the spout and spray. The second one was fine. Now here is the problem: The lever to control flow and temperature is very short and very hard to dial in precisely. AND, it is on only one side, the right side. In my kitchen all cooking and prepping is done on the right side of the sink. To turn on the faucet you have to use your right hand or angle your left hand awkwardly under the spout or you will get your arm wet. I cook hard and fast, cooking and cleaning at the same time; fiddling with a faucet is not what I want to be doing. Imagine: you are pulling a bowl over for a quick rinse. You grab it with your right hand and move it over to the sink, now you have to put the bowl down, turn the faucet on and then pick up the bowl again, rinse, put the bowl down, turn the faucet off, pick the bowl up again with your right hand and proceed. Meanwhile your left hand is holding the sponge and that's it. Now imagine a top control: Right hand grabs bowl, left turns on water and reaches for sponge or brush, quick clean, right hand moves bowl out of way as left hand puts down sponge or brush and turns off water. So so so much more efficient. If you are like me and move very quickly and efficiently in a kitchen, then this is NOT the faucet you want. Otherwise, this is a fine faucet.

Elegant and Functional

ONE-SENTENCE REVIEW The S72101 combines classic style with modern touches in an impressive, functional package. FULL REVIEW I've been a fan of Moen for a long time, but some of their modern products cut some corners and have styles that are not very inspired. The S72101 has me back in the Moen fan club. BUILD Given the price, a heavier gauge metal than discount faucets is expected, and the Weymouth more than delivers. It should take a lot of abuse, and all of the joints are well designed. The sprayer base and a significant amount of the sprayer itself are made of plastic. This is a very unfortunate mar that makes it feel less like an heirloom and may become an issue if the metallic finish starts to fade or peel. STYLE I was not sure how I would feel about the style from the picture, but it is stunning in person. Many companies, including Moen, have failed at bringing together classic and modern designs. With the S72101, they figured it out. The result is a beautiful faucet that looks at home in almost any kitchen design without being boring. The sprayer does not quite live up to the rest. It is the same sprayer that comes with other Moen faucets, so it is more generic, though the base matches the faucet. FUNCTION Everything about this faucet works well. The faucet arm turns smoothly, the handle rotates with precision, and the sprayer has nice pressure. INSTALLATION Moen takes a lot of the effort out of faucet installation, and I am very thankful for that. The pipes come attached to the faucet, and the main unit is attached with a handy included tool. Importantly, this particular faucet allows for installation of the faucet without the sprayer. If you have an independent sprayer and love the look of the Weymouth line, you won't have to do any custom work to make that happen. SUMMARY While the S72101 is not perfect, I like it so much that I can't give it fewer than five stars. It is built like a tank, elegant without being dull, and easy to install. Other than the sprayer being a bit of an afterthought, I wouldn't change anything.
