Good Baskets but…Moldy?

The media could not be loaded. The product itself seemed great, they’re definitely cute, good sized baskets, however mine came covered in mold… so… there’s that. I am going to try to clean them up, because they seem to function well, and I understand that they are made out of reeds so it may be possible that they weren’t all the way dry before they were sent out, or that maybe they were stored somewhere where they got wet. I don’t know, but I am usually quick to assume the benefit of the doubt. They did arrive pretty quickly, and the packaging was in good shape, the baskets were intact and both pretty good size. I will probably update this review if I am able to salvage them, they are shipped with the smaller one inside the bigger one, and it was especially moldy, so I will probably try to clean them, without bleaching out the color, but for the price, it is a little extra work than I was expecting at all, and I’m not usually too picky about that kind of stuff. Cute baskets, but buy at your own risk, especially if you’re expecting to use them right away.
