Read this before purchasing
I almost returned the T Splitter because the 1/4NPT threads are larger than my 1/4MFL co2 hose connection threads. I searched Mfr model# on web and found instructionsl: In order to turn your single output regulator into a dual output, simply remove the shut off valve from your regulator, install the Y splitter, install your shut off valve on one side and a second shut off valve on the other The thread size of the Kegco Y splitter is 1/4" right hand NPT (National Pipe Threads) Aside from the Y splitter you will also need an additional shut off valve and a small amount of nylon tape to convert a single output regulator So- you will need an additional 1/4MFL x 1/4MPT adapter/or shut-off valve that is 1/4 Male Flare to 1/4 NPT male to make this functional

Wouldn’t seal out of the box, but some plumbing tape did the trick. Lining up the threading is also difficult. Personally, I wish I would have just spent more money and got a dual regulator.

Perfect Fit
I have been using this fitting for several weeks now without any leak issues. I'm not sure why others mention this because with an obvious wrap of Teflon tape on the threads I see no reason it would ever leak.

Cannot get good seal
Earlier, I bought a Kegco regulator with a Single Barbed shutoff. I need to add a secondary regulator, so I purchased this along with another Barbed shutoff. Unfortunately, no amount of Teflon tape or paste will seal the two outlet ports for me. I have tried everything from completely clean to heavily wrapped with tape and gobbed with Number 5 thread sealant. Also note that I have carefully cleaned the threads between attempts, and made sure not to get any sealant on the face of the connectors. No matter what I try, I get bubbles when testing. The one time I thought I had it all sealed up, I blew through a tank of CO2 in about a week. Fortunately or unfortunately, my batch of beer didn't turn out, so I have not needed the second regulator yet. When I do, I won't be going back to this splitter.
