heavy but comfortable

Heavy but they are awesome! Comfortable. They are a bit heavy and not very breathable but they are some of my favorite pair of work shoes.

A little heavy but comfortable

The length of these shoes fits perfectly and fits well. These are a bit wider than normal but they’re still comfortable on my feet even though I don’t usually need a wider size. The shoe tip is some sort of composite material rather than a steel toe but it is very hard and tough. I don’t know if it would be as protective as a steel toe in extreme cases but it’ll definitely protect your toes in everyday use. The composite does make the shoes quite a bit heavier and it’s noticeable when walking around. My regular shoes feel so light after wearing these it’s almost like I’m not wearing anything on my feet. The shoes are nice quality, look and feel good and overall they’ve been nice to have.

KEEN works shoes are top notch. This is my third pair in 10 years.

I love these KEEN work shoes. They are always top notch, good quality, and comfortable. This is my third pair in 10 years. I wear put these work shoes through a lot from constructions, to automotive repair, to welding. They always perform and never let me down. These shoes are true to size and very comfortable. They are heavy duty and will last a long time. My two previous KEEN lasted 4 or 5 years easily. I replace them NOT because they develop holes or the soles wear out (both previous pairs had no issues). I replace them because I wanted new shoes! I have to admit, they did look tired from all my abuse and foot sweat! These are very high quality, heavy duty shoes. Great for protecting your feet from anything and everything!

Heavy duty shoes - emphasis on heavy

These are some very durable shoes. They're comfortable, sturdy soles and, of course, your toes are well protected. I like using them for yard work, carpentry projects, etc. But, being that they're pretty heavy, I wouldn't use them as everyday shoes or for hiking. What I like: - They're breathable, yet keep my feet dry - Durable, but comfortable. Great working shoes. What could be better: - Given the weight of the shoes, I would expect the soles to be much firmer. I always give shoes the "bend the soles" test to see whether there's any give. These ones are pretty solid, except for the area right around the ball of the foot, where they bend, almost like a hinge. Not what I expected for shoes designed as "work shoes". Not a big deal, but notable. - They are heavy - like wearing heavy weight hiking boots. I'm guessing this somewhat is due to the material used to protect the toes. But it's supposed to be "composite material". I like them. I'll wear them.

Nice shoes

Kind of heavy, but it comes with the protection of a tank so this is expected. I wear them frequently, especially when I need to do some manual labor that could involve dropping something on my feet. Nothing has even come close to causing my feet harm yet. Doesn't look too bad, either. The final eyelet at the top has some extra support so I expect it to go through several shoelaces before the shoes themselves need to be retired.

Well made shoe, but heavy.

These are very well made. They may look a bit like an athletic shoe, but the weight and feel is more like a boot. Looking down on then from the top, they remind me of snowboard boots. The exception being they are cut low like a sneaker. So they may look like an athletic shoe, but don't think you will have the weight or feel of an athletic shoe.

So comfortable, but heavy.

The media could not be loaded. These keen work shoes are extremely comfortable. The carbon toe is protective and they are low cut like a sneaker. The wide sizing makes them perfect for people with wide feet like me. I even wonder if I could size down a half a size. The one thing holding them back from 5 stars is that they just are heavy. Really much heavier than other keen safety toe boots I’ve had. If that doesn’t bother you, these are really a great boot!
