Does what I needed!
I have a 2007 Infiniti FX35. I don't put a lot of mileage on it, so it has not quite 29,000 miles on it. However, for the last year or so, we had to put up with a musty odor whenever heat or A/C were turned on. I suspected it was caused by fungi on the 6-year-old in-cabin filter, which is supposed to be changed every 15K miles. . .which I didn't do because most car companies want you to replace items way before they need to be. But in this case, I probably should have replaced it at 22/23K miles because that's when the smell started. In any case, I just replaced it (myself) this morning, then took the car for a test drive in which I tried both heat and A/C. The heating-A/C system works perfectly and no more smell! A word of caution. Unless you're mechanically inclined, I advise against doing the replacement yourself. The instructions that come with the filter are generic/don't provide much information on how to remove & replace it. And the instructions make no mention of what the two foam strips that come with it are for (and which I did not use; the old filter didn't have them, so I figured they were for some other installation). I found the instructions on a site dedicated to FX owners, and even then, had difficulty getting some things apart. In an FX, you have to remove the right front door sill, the side kick panel between the floor and glove box, the flat panel under the glove box, and the glove box itself to get to the unit that houses the filter. The side kick panel required an excessive amount of force to remove it because of two metal clips at the back of it that went into metal slots and after 6 years, acted like they were welded to the body. It took me some time to figure out that I had to use a lever (long screwdriver) to pop them out. When I put things back together, I put SILICONE GREASE on those #@$* metal clips so removal will be easier next time!

2007 Nissan Murano
Gaining access to the filter is easy enough & w/ the FRAM video online it makes popping out the glove box and installing a new filter a breeze. Total time to take out, replace and reinstall was approx 15 minutes. 7 Screws, pop out glove box, pop open filter cover, swap filters, pop the glove box back in and screw it secure. As for the filter, I just picked up this '07 Murano w/ 49k miles. Unbelievable just how much dirt, dust, and even leaves/brush were stuck on top of the old filter. I've never had a vehicle with a cabin filter so initially I was leaning toward this being a waste of money. After pulling out that filter and seeing what a difference it made I will be changing the filter periodically in my Murano and other car down the road that has a cabin filter. It's incredible just how well the air flows now. Not only that but it's a very clean smelling air. Onto the goods. Upon comparison the filter was the same size as the OEM. FRAM included 2 strips of foam w/ tape on one side that you can peel the paper off and attach the sticky side to filter. To me this seemed to offer a more secure, tighter fit that gives the filter a better seal to catch particles. Because the OEM and FRAM filter seemed to leave a small gap in the filter box I decided to use the foam. I first started with one side then went ahead and used both pieces. It doesn't slide in or out as easily with the foam but I liked the idea of having a better seal, tight fit. Since this filter is also used for a couple other cars perhaps the foam is necessary for those vehicles. Bottom line, for the Murano you don't need to attach the foam. What more can I say. The filter fits great, it's a super easy job, it's great having that clean air blowing through the cabin, the added Baking Soda to prevent musty car smell is a great touch... Do yourself & your vehicle a favor, save some money and swap filters yourself.

A Great Filter
Exactly what I was hoping for. It does help with scent elimination if something got caught in the air filter just don't expect active scent alterations. So long as you know what this can and can't do it's great.

Perfect Fitment and Great Results for a 2003 Nissan Sentra XE
A new cabin air filter can make an enormous difference for improved car interior air quality! This one certainly did! My application for this Fresh Breeze filter was a 2003 Nissan Sentra XE. For this car, it shouldn't take any longer than 15 minutes to get the job done as the filter change process was fairly simple. The only tools I needed were: 1 small flat-head and 1 Phillips screwdrivers (I used the flat-head to pry out the plastic pins holding the glove box in. -Might be able to get them out by hand, but they can be stubborn). For the record, this is the second FRAM CF10140 filter I have installed in this car. The previous one was put in only a year ago. That may sound like bad news at first, however this car was commuting long distance every day and thus accumulated dirt at a higher rate than average. Driving conditions and "filter mileage" will ultimately determine the life of the filter. Originally, this car had no cabin air filter at all, which actually isn't uncommon. After seeing the amount of debris this filter captured in only a years' time, it's worth every penny to replace it when necessary. A clean filter also helps shield your blower motor from damage caused by excess debris and dirt entering freely into the cabin. Musty smells originating from your cars' HVAC system can be significantly reduced, if not eliminated completely after replacement. Each FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter comes with helpful, detailed installation instructions. Lastly, the price I paid on Amazon of about $10 for this item is fantastic! For example, Wal-Mart wants over $14 for the same thing. Good bargain!

Not worth it at full price
1. The corners had to trimmed otherwise its doesn't fully go in and cover doesn't close or is super tight and its plastic i wasn't comfortable with how much effort it took to close vs oem filter so did more analysis. Can be pushed in but that bends the filter element. 2. Much less pleats than oem filter so flow will be less. 3. The corner pleats nead to unatached from center support rib to match oem shape. I tore up and used foam provided with filter to copy shape of oem filter. Check pictures it will be more clear. 4. Definitely cheaper than oem but original is only around 8-9$ more and oem mann filter might be cheaper, for next time i am moving back to oem, just bought this as openbox for trying out and comparing.

Fit perfectly
Filter fit perfectly on my 2005 Altima. There is video on their website for my specific model which was quite helpful. Requires removal of glove box so about a 10-15 min job. Whereas in my Honda and Acura I only need to drop the glove box door in which case it's a 3 min job.. I highly recommend changing your cabin filter at least yearly. The old ones I removed were very filthy. I use other FRAM oil filters so I am quite comfortable using this filter in all my vehicles.

Buen estado

Perfect fit
Perfect fit for my X-Trail. Never the easiest of cabin filters to fit, but worth the trouble. I save a lot of money by doing it myself. Good price. Will buy again.
