I got this product two weeks ago. I was so excited, I researched so much into this product and it seemed perfect, everybody loved it. I was used to using cheap curl products, as that’s all I could afford until recently, so now that I can afford it, I thought i’d splurge and start a new hair routine with new “GREAT” expensive products. First wash, I was extremely unimpressed. I could FEEL that my hair was dry like, while I was in the shower and it was sopping wet after washing. It was the strangest thing. But I thought i’d still keep going and try the matching conditioner. It was thick, very pasty. I had to continuously put it in my hair because I have VERY thick hair, and it takes a lot of product to cover. I got out of the shower and my hair dried in 20 minutes, (air dry time) which is very weird considering it normally takes 2-8 hours to dry in the hair. my curl turned into a wave after the first wash, and I chalked it up to it being the first day on a new product. After one week, which is fairly normal, my hair was ready for another wash. I noticed my curls (waves, now after using this I guess) laid flat by day 3 after washing. Normally my curls pretty much stay curly until I wash it the next week. I decide to give it another go. I took the first photos right before washing, and the second photos were taken after second washing, after I noticed the substantial dryness that was all over my head. Same thing happened while washing, it felt dry and crispy while literally wet in the shower, except this time, it got so tangled after I rinsed out the shampoo that I had to use so much conditioner and a wet brush for ten minutes in the shower to get all of the tangles properly out. I get out of the shower and notice my hair is literally and utterly stripped of curls. my bangs puffed out x100, my ends are now FRIED, literally fried, (photos included) and after two washes, I only have 1/4 bottle of the conditioner left. For an expensive product, I expect at least some results, not my hair to be absolutely fried. i’m considering chopping off my ends now, but will have to try countless moisturizing treatments for months now, hoping to get back to what my hair was before I tried this product from hell. At this point, I don’t even want my money back. I just want my hair back. (Photo breakdown; first photo is from before my wash, 1 week after first wash, second, third, and fourth photo taken right after 2nd wash showing damage and breakage, 5th photo is my natural curly hair before I tried this product.)
