Compact, durable, but...still has a noticeable plastic taste

I like that it's compact and folds up when it's empty - way easier to carry around than my normal stainless steel water bottle. I've used it for a couple months and the plastic taste is still present. I've sent their customer service an email and they replied promptly and gave me some suggestions that I tried and I still taste plastic. Customer service offered to replace it and I might end up taking them up on that offer, but I'd like to see if the plastic taste will disappear. But...maybe that's just what you get when you drink out of a plastic water bottle - I'll update in the future.

More Colors Please

Black and Raging Aqua aren’t that nature friendly. Seems like your market is like UFC or Wakeboarding competitions. You should make a line of 3 green-blue, transparencies named after the clearest water locations that hikers know. Like transparent mint or seafoam green but called “Lake Havesue” or a transparent royal blue called “Lake Tahoe”. Have a look at Nalgenes most transparent colorways (I think there are 2-)?) and make more along this line of thought.

Useful

Use for hiking long distance. Works great and very convenient. My only complaint is that even after using dish soap and bottle tabs the silicone/rubbery flavor does not go away.

Great for folding up and stowing away

I really like that this thing becomes super small so you can fold it up and stow it away. Just keep in mind once you start drinking from it, as the volume decreases the bottle becomes more floppy. This may or may not be annoying for you if you are using it in a backpack mesh pocket.

Terrific fit for katadyn, low weight for hiking

Out of the box I loved this! I was looking for a fit for my Katadyn filter. I have used a Solomon vest bottle, which was also a perfect fit, but that filed over time (those bottles are known for that), and I wanted to add more durability but not much more weight. Took it on a 10 mile hike over the weekend and noticed only some taste problems - BUT I hadn’t even rinsed it. Whoops. Overall, really like this and intend to take it every hike! I Also love the size: had enough water towards the end of the hike to help top off a hiker coming up who hadn’t brought enough water for his dog. Water your pups :)

great for travel

I purchased this to travel with and carry in the field. It is great because it is light weight and durable as was as taking up only a small amount of space while packing it.

Just as you'd expect, but, I get an odd taste from it

This soft flask is extremely portable, strong and I love the pressure sensitive cap that lets you have it open and ready without worrying about spillage. However, apparently I'm 1 of 10 people that can taste some sort of odd taste that this flask adds to the water. I've washed it 3-4 times, soaked it in hot water dozens of times, used baking soda, the whole gambit, it's gotten better, but, still there. It's gotten so that I don't mind it as much as when I first got it, so I've not returned it and will continue to use mine.

Not quite right

I wanted a collapsible bottle for air travel. It works fine, seals well no leaks, but... It does give off a plastic taste to the water and it collapses all right. It's like carrying around a water balloon. It gets floppy when not full. I'll keep it for dog water on the boat, but it's not great for what I wanted. I does fold up small.

Great concept, only use with water though.

This is great for me, I cycle to work and want to save as much weight as I can for my backpack. Unfortunately it's only suitable for water. I used orange squash it in one day and its now covered in patches of yellow staining.

Packable and convenient

This is my second Hydrapak Flux. I liked my first one so much that I bought a spare. I use my Hyrdapak Flux for general hydration and cross country skiing. It conforms well to whatever pack I’m using and doesn’t leak, even if it tips over while the valve is open. Handles warm and very cold weather well. The one litre volume is just right for maintaining hydration during an hour or two of outdoor activity (more than that is CamelBak time). Best cleaned after use… some buildup if certain energy drinks aren’t completely flushed and allowed to sit overnight. Bottle Bright or a soft brush about once a month keeps things in peak form though.

Sehr gut!

Es kam schnell an und hat 4 Tage Festival + Camping perfekt überstanden und ist bereit für den nächsten Einsatz. Sie kann sehr klein gefaltet werden und weißt auch nach mehrfachen benutzen absolut keine Mängel auf. An jeder Wasserstelle konnte ich die Flasche ohne Probleme füllen.Es ist angenehm aus der Flasche zu trinken und auch der Verschluss ist dicht und leicht in der Handhabe. Ich hatte absolut keine Probleme mit Plastik Geruch oder ähnlichem.

Leicht aber auch leicht kaputt

Ich habe die Flasche ein zweites Mal im Oktober gekauft. Ich gehe wirklich gut mit ihr um, nutze sie manchmal für warmes Wasser, aber leider bekommt sie immer kleine Risse oder Löcher. Manchmal ist ultraleicht dann doch nicht das beste. Lieber ein Paar Gramm mehr und dafür Stabilität erhalten. Schade.

Borraccia davvero molto comoda e leggera. la sto utilizzando per andare in montagna e devo dire che è veramente prativa perchè a mano a mano che si beve si schiaccia quindi occupa davvero poco spazio.
