pretty durable!
Not going to stop your super aggressive chewers, but it's been in our house for 2 months and it hasn't been ripped to bits yet. So that's something! Our golden retriever puppy loves to destroy toys and this is lasting longer than most.

Somewhat chew resistant
My dog destroys every toy put before her. She immediately ripped off all 4 corners of the ends but the rest of the toy has stayed together and she has not done any more damage in the last month. She still chews on the ends almost exclusively (fear the destroyer) but they have held together pretty well.

Tough,but not indestructible
I have a Border Collie that may be the ultimate test for the toughness of any dog toy. This particular toy was pretty tough and lasted five months before she shredded it, removed all the stuffing & squeaker, but she still plays with the remains showing in the included photo. My dog loves this toy and plays with it an hour or more every day. The simple design with less parts hanging off it helps make it more durable. I wish there was a version with no stuffing inside, that would be ideal. Would I buy it again? Absolutely, when it lasted five months relatively unharmed, I ordered two backups to phase in as necessary, and when they went on sale this month I bought three more spares to keep her happy in the future. No other soft toy that se has 24/7 access to has lasted this long. If kept away from this toy except for supervised play/fetching (like we do with one of the spares) I expect the will last longer in one piece. These are great for tossing/ catching/and retrieving. .. a double layer firehose material one with no stuffing would be even better if made!????

Good toy
1st off this is a great toy well made and durable in ours own right .... now FYI My dogs destroy every toy doesn't matter how "durable" they claim to be I buy 4 of these at a time they tug pull and play very aggressively with this the stuffing and squeaker are out of it within a day then they tug tug tug back and forth for about a week till its destroyed .... it's well made toy but nothing holds up against H&D This Hose Toy & Tennis Balls are my go to My only thought.... Wish this toy came unstuffed would be better for my dogs

Not for dogs that like to tear at their toys
Lasted about 15 minutes before my dog found a weak spot and got the fluff out. The product will probably hold up well for a dog that chews or for use only as a tug toy. I bought this more rugged fire hose style toy to hopefully keep my westie mix occupied while I work. If your dog nips and tears at toys then you should expect similar results that I had. The toy did not last more than 3-4 hours before a had to officially take it away from my dog and trash it. Side note, the interior of the toy has a rubber lining, something like a tubbing for a bike tire, which was the reason I opted to trash the toy once the dog got to it.

Semi durable
Our aggressive chewer takes months to destroy these. It is his absolute favorite toy that he takes with him everywhere.

Not for super chewers
I haven't made a full decision on this toy yet, but this is 30 minutes in by the white pup in the middle. There are strings at the ends that came out almost immediately and we cut those off. Will update as we go.

Fire hose dog toy
I like the toy for my dogs. It's pretty durable however my two goldens destroyed it in a short time.

Not that durable
My dog had bits of it within minutes. If there’s any bit of an unfinished edge he’ll be able to open any toy. Anybody making a dog toy knows that edges/seams have to be really well finished and no matter how durable the actual material is (which in this case the material is very strong) if anything is loose they will make an opening within minutes. 5⭐️ for material durability but 2⭐️ for finishing.

a good toy .. especially when used as a special treat toy
The wee man has great fun with this, playing tug of war ... The toy is sturdy, well put together, and is lasting very well, because i never let him take it away and chew it like he does with his other cheaper toys ... I doubt theres a toy in existence that lasts very long, when the dog is left to chew on it to their hearts content ... So i reckon the more expensive toys should be special treat ones .. It always stays with me .. and for that reason, stays intact... but also, because he never gets to take it away and chew it, and i put it away when were not playing with it, he always remains keenly interested in it ... so this toy is one of his special toys, that he enjoys in small doses .. he'll never get bored with it like his pother toys, and should last a life time on that basis ...

Dog loves it, but some faults
Overall seems very durable, and a great size. The end started fraying almost immediately (within 15 minutes of use) but otherwise seem OK. The squeaker on ours also doesn’t work (just makes an airy noise).

Not for strong jaws - incorrectly marketed
I have a seven month old boxer / border collie mix. The item was delivered yesterday at 21:00 hours. I played with the dog this morning (first time he got to see it) with the toy and had fun. Two hours later it looks like the pictures. Don't bother with this product if your doggo is a powerful chewer, I am returning it as defective and will not be buying another product from this company as they incorrectly market items.

Lasted less than 5 minutes
Had the toy less than 5 minutes before it was bitten straight through and the end removed. Complete waste of money, don't buy!
