Gets the job done, but the print runs when washed!

I really love this nursing cover. I love that the strap is adjustable and that it contains two pockets for easy storage. I also love that my son is able to see me while I nurse him as he hated being under receiving blankets, etc. We both love the Azure print as well. He is so intrigued by it. My only issue with this cover is that the ink of the Azure print runs when washed. I was so disappointed when I washed the cover for the first time before wearing it and the print got distorted. Other than that, the cover gets the job done.

Great cover

I purchased this nursing cover so I can nurse in public with my nipple shield. I have used it everywhere, including the plane, restaurants,and outside. It gets the job done. Is the fabric the most luxurious cotton? No. However, I find that there is ample coverage, even with a wiggly baby. It can get hot if you're not inside, but that's not surprising, you've got a hot little body pressed up against yours. The boning is great. It has held up really well and is specifically why I purchased the cover. It's really easy to see what is going on down there and your baby can see you too. I love the case. It folds really easily and fits into your diaper bag and doesn't take up a lot of room. There are pockets at the bottom, but I haven't figured out a use for them.

The terry cloth corners are perfect for minor wiping up of a runny nose or ...

I have nursed my baby just about everywhere in this thing. The metal curve at the top is essential for being able to see the baby; the drape is perfectly sized so that I am covered without tangling the baby in excess fabric. The terry cloth corners are perfect for minor wiping up of a runny nose or spilled milk. The adjustable neck allows you to set it up and then leave it at the right length for you. The patterns are attractive. I've washed it several times with no problem. I've given this to my sister and two sister-in-laws as baby presents, and all of them have used them constantly as well. It's one of my favorite baby presents because new moms don't think of it, but it's so important to get out and about with a new baby.

i had 2 of these during pregnancy and they were a "must have." I traveled a lot with my infants and this was perfect for nursing discretely on the go. The fabric is high quality and I never had any issues with stains, tears, pulls, hem stitching, etc. these held up well very in the washer and dryer. The rigid neck opening was perfect because it holds the fabric over, but not against baby's head. My infants liked to have fresh air while nursing and would push a towel or blanket off. This, they were perfectly happy to nurse underneath. Each one I had lasted through 2 separate babies who each lasted about a year. They were still in perfect condition after #2 was done.

Good cover, but thin material

I bought this cover and a Bebe Au Lait one...I think they are made by the same company. Although they both have the curvature on top, I prefer the Bebe Au Lait one because the material is a tiny bit thicker and it has the nice pockets inside it. I do like that this one has a nice bag for it, though. I think this cover and covers like it are the best I have found for nursing in public. The boning in it for seeing my DD is essential. The only thing I might change is to make it a little bit longer on the sides and maybe an option for attaching in the back to prevent the side view when nursing.

MUST HAVE this item if you plan to nurse your baby in public!

MUST HAVE if you are going to nurse your child. You never know when baby may be hungry and you are out in public. This product does its job very well. I would never go without it. I would purchase this for every mom-to-be that plans on nursing. Would make a fantastic baby shower gift! This item is at the top of my 'NEED' for baby list, I LOVED it! I used it at the mall, in the car while in a public parking lot, at church! SOOO much better than a blanket which is what I had to use with my first child because I don't think there was anything like this available back then that I knew of anyway. (my 1st and 3rd child are 15 years apart) :)

Just OK

As a mother of four, I have spent many years breastfeeding. I bought a classic Hooter Hider 11 years ago for my first daughter and loved it! In fact, I still have it, but decided to buy another for my last baby. The first thing that I noticed about this shawl is that the fabric seemed thinner and more sheer than my old shawl. It also does not have a little terry cloth piece sewn in the corner like the old ones (which is so handy for spit ups or other mishaps.) So, whereas this shawl is OK, it doesn't compare in quality to the older product. It works well and does the job, but I'm a little disappointed with the overall quality.
