Definitely powerful, but too noisy!

So, I’ve been using these little desk fans for decades, but u fortunately, China made the switch to USB power rather then A/C power, and this resulted in all of these little fans becoming way under powered. They’re practically useless on USB power as they can’t move much air. Finally, I found this Holmes fan, which is one of the very few A/C powered versions of this design there is, the only problem is that the little motor, once it gets up to speed, ends up being far too loud for a desk fan. It also vibrates like crazy and will move all around u less you do what so did and add two layers of cushioned feet under the rubber grommets. Am I happy with it? Yeah, cuz it pushes the air I want, but it’s too much white noise for watching movies on speakers or trying to have a zoom meeting with other people. I have to turn it off during meetings and stuff. So I’m gonna keep shopping and maybe I’ll find a replacement that’s not so loud, but until I find it, this is the best option out there that’s easy to find.

Very small !

I didn’t realize this is a tiny fan. Didn’t read the description before I bought it. It works pretty good for a small unit. Only has one speed. Just a little loud but not a dealbreaker.

My Mini Fan

Had this exact same fan sold under a different brand name and used for over 10 years at my station at work. Decided to replace due to it finally developed a vibration and purchased this replacement a couple of months ago. Very quiet, produces surprisingly strong airflow. Takes up very little room. “Cage” can easily be taken apart for cleaning if desired. Highly recommend.

It's so small!!

I wanted a replacement fan for my older desk fan I been using for the past few years that stopped working and that fan was a 8 inch fan. I considered that as a "desk fan" because it was so small.....until I saw this fan when I got it the other day. I wanted a fan just like this, but twice as large....it's SO SMALL!!! However, it's pretty much all metal construction and fairly quiet single speed fan. I have it sitting on top of my desktop computer pointed at me to keep me rather cool or a bit cooler. It's a cute little AC-powered fan with a single speed and all metal construction. You can adjust it up & down and manually move it too, it does not oscillate. Overall, I'd give it a 4 of 5 stars mostly because it was so much smaller than I expected, but still keeps me somewhat cooler, not as quite as cool as my somewhat larger desk fan, but alright I guess.

So far so good

I’ve been using this fan in my office for an entire week running at least 7-9 hours a day straight and so far, 0 issues. I would’ve liked for the fan to have different speed levels, but it’s still a solid 4/5 stars

Great little fan

This small yet very sturdy fan sits on my bedside table. It doesn't blast out but for sure cools me down while I'm in bed. Has a slight 'hum' sound, but I really like this as it kind of acts as a 'white noise' for me. Also, I love the compact size for where I needed it to go.

Perfect fan when using my computer

I have another Holmes fan beside my other computer, but it uses USB and this one plugs into a socket. Both are great, small, reliable and powerful. I fully recommend.

Cute, but loud

Kind of pricey. But it is a solid metal fan, decent quality. Very cute and tiny. Makes very little noise when holding it, BUT as soon as I put it down on any surface, it made very loud low hum, like a transport driving by continuously.
