Caused cuts/sores

My gymnast wanted these because some of the other girls in her class has them. She wore them for a few days, but they caused cuts on the outside of her palms. Not sure why or how. She's since gone back to her original velcro style ones.

Daughters go to grips

These are my level 9 daughters go to grips. BUT… we have had some very inconsistent issues lately. We bought two pairs this year since the first pair had a defective grip. Was thin and cut wrong. I would suggest looking at them both before sending your gymnast to gym so that you can return them if not right. Grips should look identical.

My daughter is level 10 5”3 and 120 pounds she said the grips are to thin in the center of her palm.

Great Grips

My daughter was super excited to get her first pair of dowel grips. She's used palm grips initially and her coach suggested these grips. The narrow palm is good for transitioning because her hand can have more contact with the bar but will still have protection against rips. I measured from the base of her palm to the tip of her middle finger to determine the correct size. The Med fits her perfectly since she measured 6.5 inches. The grips needed to be broken in and the finger holes had to be adjusted. But that's typical with grips to get the right fit. She's very happy and couldn't wait to start using them!

My girls love these!

My two Level 9 gymnasts really like these grips. This particular grip is what they’ve been using for the past four years. When they need to replace them, they ask for the same ones. They’ve been very durable and the girls like the design.

Great Grips

These are the grips our gymnastics studio recommends for the girls. I always buy from Amazon instead of Gibson because the shipping is free. Same great product either way. My 10 year old just purchased a size small. Her first pair at about age 8 was an XS. With lots of use, they do wear out but I still highly recommend. Her coaches know how to stretch the finger holes (I don't) but it always works like a charm; my daughter does not have skinny fingers!

Para niñas de 5 a 9 años!

Es un buen producto ! Para niñas pequeñas de 5 a 9 años máximo! Los orificios donde se introduce los dedos son muy pequeños y estos se tienen que hacer más grandes, por qué de lo contrario no se podrán usar nunca. Son de lengua muy delgada.
