Perfect size for a terrified cat!

Our 1-year-old cat is still terrified of outdoor noises whenever we take him outside, especially during our short commute to the Vet. He would clawed onto us for his life, hide under the car seat, or run back to the house. It is unfortunate that he is still scared of outdoors (I love outdoors!). So, I bought this pet carrier. We received the pet carrier and it was exactly what we were looking for. It is not too big and it is not too small. It's a perfect size for a house cat or a small dog. This pet carrier is also a good size should we decide to take our cat for a trip on the airplane (other pet carriers were too big and bulky!). It has an interior tether for safety purpose, which can be tucked under the fleece pad. Our cat fell in love with the pet carrier immediately. I am very happy to have noticed that he is very calm whenever I took him outside. Also, he looks on as he felt very secured inside and at the same time he would peek through the screen to see what's around him (instead of trying to claw onto us like before; I'm amazed at this change of behavior). I am pleased with this purchase.

Good carrier ... but be careful

I bought two of these for my bruisers. (It wasn't easy to find a sturdy sizable carrier for my 22-pound kitty, but this one works.) I put treats and catnip in for a couple days before our short trip, and they wandered in and out and seemed comfortable hanging out in the carriers. But on the way to the vet, I was startled when one of my cats stepped onto the front console then into my lap. He had unzipped the carrier and crawled on out! Well, I pulled over and we worked things out. But note that there's no way to put a lock or even a twist tie to hold the two zipper pulls together. So now I zip one zipper all the way around to the bottom of the other side and he hasn't gotten out (at least not yet!). The carrier is substantial, a good size, easy to handle. But for the zipper glitch, I'm very happy with the product.

Great size for kitten or adult cat!

I bought this to use for taking my cats to the vet. Using it right now for a kitten, but it is plenty big enough for my adult cat as well which is why I bought it. Good construction, nice pad in the bottom that is removable so you can wash it. I have a Gen7 stroller for my dog so I was familiar with the name brand and confident in the quality.

After great deal of search for a "good size" carrier I ...

After great deal of search for a "good size" carrier I found one! I have a 12lbs poodle mix and it's good size for him. I wouldn't recommend it for bigger than 15lbs even though it said up to 20lbs. It fits him good, enough room for him although a little snugged. Good material, I will be flying southwest with him, well see how it goes. Previously owned a Bergan and loved it but it was wayyy too small for my dog. I ordered a Large.

Good product.

I have a very tall, very long, 13lb Maine Coon cat and she fits in this carrier just fine. Because it is soft it narrows at the top quite a bit when picked up, but that is the only down side I have found. My Furball still doesn't like being confined to a carrier, but being able to zip open one of the ends to reach in a pet her does seem to help.

Large size great for tall yet small dogs.

Thank you for your large size! I'll soon be moving from Puerto Rico to Los Angeles and needed a carrier for small, light weight, rat terrier that happens to be taller than most of his breed. This has made it difficult to find a carrier where he could fit comfortable in. Had it not been for this carrier I would have been forced to ship him over via cargo but with it being Summer that would have been a scary option.

Gen 7 bags

I love these bags and actually own three of them for each of my three dogs. The only con I find in them is the zipper. The arch at the top is so tall and narrow that the zipper is always catching there. You must be very careful with the zipper to avoid breaking it or catching it on the fabric.

Love it!

My cat loves this carrier. I bought a bigger one before but she meowed almost the whole trip which is unusual for her. I bought this and she loved it. Probably felt cozy. Also it so inexpensive but made well.

Much lighter than a hard case, and strong.

This is a to small for my Manx to stand up, but he can turn around, and if I hook his harness into the case and open the door he can see out. He seems much happier traveling this way, and doesn't torment me with never-ending howls. Much lighter than the huge bulky hard-sided case, and much easier for me to carry. (The weight of the case + the weight of the cat = struggle) I might like a bit sturdier sides, but overall it seems to be put together well, and I'm not afraid it will fall apart as I'm carrying it. Knowing how tricky and determined cats can be, I've put clips on the zipper pulls just to make sure he doesn't open a door at a bad time.

Love it except mat inside.

Love the bag just disappointed in the mat inside. In the picture its a thick padded one and the one that came is just a thin 1/4” one. If there was an email I would contact them. That’s false advertising.

This bag is well constructed. Enough mesh for adequate ventilation. We just bought this for basically one long distance flight and worked well. Buffy doesn't fully agree that this product was so good. She seemed to have the look that says "if this thing is so good, why don't you get in it"? Oh well, you can't please everyone.

Nice carrier, my dog liked it and she spent the whole afternoon sleeping in it, she is 14 LB i liked the idea of hard bottom which is not mentioned in the description, but the only flow it doesn't come with a should strap ,
