helps the woofs
I have a four poster bed that my woofs were having issues getting up on. I don't have enough clearance for actual dog steps so I thot this might give them a boost. It works out. I can store their grooming stuff in the base so that was a plus. It hides all of it, but keeps it close at hand. The fabric isn't my taste so I threw a dollar store fuzzy baby receiving blanket on it which can be washed easily. Win/Win. It doesn't come with floor protectors, but those are also available at dollar store.

This is my favorite piece of furniture in my home. I wouldn’t even sell it for $500! It is just something I absolutely adore! The storage, the size, look of it in my room.. I just love it!!

Yes, it looks like my grandmothers footstool
Yes, it looks like my grandmothers footstool. That's part of why I bought it. I got it for my old cat, who needs a little boost to get up on the couch. I remembered my grandmother had one that had storage in it where she kept her embroidery and mending kits. It's the perfect size and height for the cat, while taking up little space. The pattern is a bit fussy, but oddly enough it helps it blend in while still being visible. Took about two minutes to assemble because the screws for the legs are so deep. The legs did not come with "feet" although there are screw-holes to attach something apparently It's just a foot rest with storage, but it would work also as a place for little kids, or old cats, to sit.

I wish that there was a latch to keep the top from opening when you pick it up to move it.
It is cute, it works, but when you pick it up to move it, the top opens up. I wish there was a latch to keep the top from opening up unless you want it to open up.

Cherry color very dark more toward black than red undertone
I have the same foot stool purchased a few years ago so wanted something similar. Its a bit disappointing. The cherry color is very very dark and the fabric isn't very attractive. But the big issue is the lid does not lay flat. There was a piece of cardboard inserted inside the box area which I believe sprung the hinges. I am trying to see if applying weight to the foot rest will make the lid lay flat but going on day three and it isn't helping I am going to change the fabric with less edging and swap out the hinges with some that I have on hand. I would return but the box was recycled before I could retrieve it.

cute & little
it’s a bit shorter than i expected, it’s half the height of my coffee table. but i use it mainly as a small table, storage, and a stoop for my kitty. i like it. the storage top is pretty neat. there’s a little wobble to mine.

Needs TLC
The workmanship was not what I expected. The raw edges of the fabric were left exposed & the lid does not close completely because the corners of the fabric were not trimmed correctly. Overall a cheap feel that was disappointing. I use it as a foot stool.

Nice foot stool
This foot stool is very pretty match with decor of my furniture. Very easy to assemble legs to bottom of stool just screw into bottom of foot stool. Light weight. Extra bonus there is storage space inside foot stool. Very happy with purchase. This one ordered was sold as " used" and about reduced by four dollars. The item looked perfectly fine no damages. Very happy I bought this item. Used items are a great savings. I have purchased four or five different items that were labeled"used".

Very pretty. Comfortable.
It is a little smaller than I thought. It looks just as nice as I hoped. I like the extra storage. Very happy with this little footstool.

Great item but item had sticker on the fabric
I really like this item and it is made really well. The only problem is the stickers should have been on the cellophane packaging and not on the fabric top. Very difficult and time consuming problem to remove them .

The little stool is exactly the right size for my ...
The little stool is exactly the right size for my chair and because of that I will keep using it. However, I do not think the price of the stool reflected a fair value in the item. It is very basic !. Secondly, the cover is described as 'dark beige' but it is definitely " off white." Not really practical for feet !
