Tieto dverové páky v štýle vintage sú vyrobené z tlakového odliatku a majú klasický bronzový povrch. Vyznačujú sa ťažkým odlievacím dizajnom a unikátnymi „tlmičovými“ puzdrami pre hladkú prevádzku. Táto sada pák je určená len na vnútorné použitie a obsahuje jedno oceľové vreteno 2-3/4 palca a jedno oceľové vreteno 3-5/8 palca so závitom 3/8 palca -20. Tieto páky vo francúzskom štýle sa hodia na 1/4 palcové štvorcové hnacie vretenové systémy, ktoré sa bežne vyskytujú v súpravách starožitného a vintage dverového kovania, a s dvomi (2) dodanými štvorcovými vretenami sa dajú prispôsobiť tak, aby vyhovovali dverám rôznych hrúbok. Bought this for a handmade door.
I built the door for my bedroom as part of my home renovation. This handleset works perfectly for the door, albeit the lever is a bit heavy and I have to lift it back up a bit after turning the latch. I've noticed in other reviews, buyers have mentioned having to tighten the set screws after several uses. My suggestion is to use a dab of removable threadlocker, it is usually blue in color, but a small dab won't be noticable. All in all, I plan on purchasing this handleset again for another door project in the future.

They look good. They fit perfectly. I read the previous reviews so I am prepared for problems. I mounted the set screws on top hoping that it will slow their loosening. If need be, I am willing to glue them in. There is slight wiggle in the new set but every door in the house wiggles far worse on their original hardware. I lived in old houses my whole life. I have never seen door knobs screw into the post, these do! It seems that is pretty solid. I had never understood why the posts had threads until I bought this set. A little expensive at $28 but they are actually well made. They look old. Feel heavy. The weight might be a problem with opening a door on their own. I mounted them on a door that I enter with groceries. It has made life way easier. Update. 1) The heavy weight definitely opens the door on it's own. These old doors were made for round handles not weighted handles. The ease of getting through the kitchen door outweighs the self opening problem. 2) Also, I have had to tighten the set screws twice. It is obviously going to be something that has to be fixed every month or so. Once again, worth the hassle. :) The problems with these handles are maybe because they are made too well. They are solid. They might work better if they were lighter.

Kinda cheap
On the one hand, it does get the job done easily, but there are some serious negatives: 1. Cheap construction. Over time, the handles have come loose and wobbly on the stanchions. There is nothing you can do about that, unless you want to weld them or epoxy them yourself, it's just a weak joint. 2. While it's easy enough to thread the spindle and the handles, tightening the set screws to achieve a wobble-free fit is difficult. The screws are very soft and the heads strip easily. They are flat head (or phillips, but screw heads for sure). A much better design would be a hex wrench/allen bolt where they provide you the matching allen wrench (a 0.02 cost). 3. The thread density on the spindle is fairly wide (low), so you are stuck between making it too tight and hard to turn the handle, or too loose and wobbly. In the end, I have a reasonable installation, but things are "sticky" and also a bit "wobbly" especially on the one handle where the joint is coming loose. Would not buy again.

Works better than knob
Update 12/2021 We use for a heavy old exterior door. It loose but it works still. Middle tiny circle piece came off and glue backed. I wish it is steady construction. It is a small and thin that perfect for interior door, but old doors are heavy even interior. The old doorknob had so many problems and could not open the door, so I got new knobs (other company), but it didn't work at all. I put it back knobs from other doors in my house. Again, it started having a problem, so I gave this one a try. It didn't work for both sides (I don't know why), but at least it worked for inside. And I kept the old knob outside. It is too expensive that does not work, but this time, one level works, so I gave four stars.

Nice price for a usable antique style lever
The look of these is great and they fit well. They look perfect with the new mortise lock sets I bought on Amazon, too. I knocked 1 star because the "heavy casting" actually is a bit too heavy for an interior door and so they can sag a little if the spring in the latch isn't strong enough. Also, with that much weight, you'd expect them to be solid but they do have a little bit of play between the lever and the section with the threads so it's almost got a wiggly feel now with new handles, which wasn't there with the old. Overall, it's not easy to find levers for this style of lockset at this price point so I'm pleased and bought another set.
