For a tuxedo shoe, this is an absolute winner. Patent leather, plain toe. Exactly what you want. Fit is on point. Fairly comfortable straight out of the box.

This is what you want if you're considering amazon and don't want complete garbage

They're real patent leather. They're not over $200 and aren't used on ebay. I built a piecemeal tux slowly and considered every item closely. These are classic and will last me a lifetime.

The style dissapointed

The shoes look bulky and clumsy, especially at the toe. Didn't wear them much therefore since my old double cheaper shoes are still intact... It's a bit pity because these new shoes are not cheap, at least compared to the prices in my homeland

Excellent shoe for the money and very comfortable.

Just had a custom tuxedo made and when I asked eve salesman where he’d suggest I buy comfortable shoes for my daughters wedding he suggested these on Amazon. I am determined not to wear uncomfortable shoes and these are perfect. Super comfortable, look great and well priced.

It's a derby not an oxford

It's a derby not an oxford, which turned out better for me because the lacing system is more adjustable and comfortable. The shoe is not as formal as an oxford, but that's ok. There are so many rules to the traditional black tie dress code that's meant to be broken. Just follow your own style.

Looks good, long toe box, well made

I ordered these in a 13W. The toe box extended a bit beyond the toes, as it needs to be if your toes will fit. Maybe a bit tight but they were OK. I added a heel pad and light shoe pad that I picked up at a drugstore. Well made and comfortable enough for what they are. Much better than cheaper brands.

Always check to ensure that not only the size is right so is the width!

Have been looking for a pair of tuxedo shoes to wear for a long time. Ordered a pair of nine wide thinking that they would do the job wrong! I need a 3E width to fit.
