I’m 55 years old and I got these scissors for my first aid kit. They are very easy to use. I can hold them really well. They are sharp enough to cut bandages and tape. Great little scissors

Not a fan of the assorted colors
They sent me pink scissors for my son’s school supplies. Which is cool if he is into that… but he’s not. It was unfortunate and I ended up buying more scissors in a gender neutral color. Didn’t bother to return these because they are actually working scissors and sent what was technically ordered.

Fiskars kid friendly scissors and for other Mom uses
I already use Fiskars soft grip garden scissors on my indoor and outdoor plants. So, I was already confident buying Fiskars. I have a 10 month old baby who has been eating solid food for a few months now. I wanted a smaller pair to carry in my purse as well as use in my kitchen to cut up certain foods for my son. Since he is eating with his hands more, it is so much more convenient to cut up soft noodles, occasional french fries, mini meatballs, soft cheese, etc. It's super quick and efficient. I clean after every use, wipe dry, and its antimicrobial. The grip easy, plus I have small hands and fingers. Eventually, my son will be able to use them. I also think its safe to use if I buy these for my nieces and nephews who are between the age of 4 to 8 years old because the grip is firm and the tip of the scissors are rounded out.

Fiskars! Who Knew?
I had no idea the best scissors on Earth even makes school ones...so I trust this brand and with such a great price, I bought these and am very happy! I needed just a small pair to keep by the bed for little jobs like coupons and such and the pair I had wouldn't even cut paper half the time. So of course I check my favorite site and imagine my surprise to find these...and I'm not disappointed! These little gems cut better than most regular scissors but are so small and lightweight they don't stress your hands. Highly recommended!

These just don’t cut it (know what I mean)
I was so excited to get these scissors delivered to my mental institution. The rules here are that we can’t have real scissors for some reason. Not sure why a padded cell means I can’t have a real cutting instrument. Anyway, when they arrived and cleared security here I was so let down (kind of like when my parents bought my twin sister that car for her 16th bday and I got a set of Samsonite red suitcases, I always suspected she was the favorite, just because she came out first!!). I couldn’t figure out how to use this overly complicated cutting instrument. There were no instructions in the package. Thankfully my therapist was able to show me how to use them. The trick is to put your finger (just one) in the right hole. Put it the smaller hole and you are in for a real surprise! If you get your fingers just right these will do the trick...just be sure to keep them clean!

My nearly 4 year old used these to learn to cut. I wouldn't have introduced scissor work just yet but his enthusiasm and interest made us follow his lead. We own several kiddie scissors and these are hands down the best. My child's all four fingers fit in the bottom grip and it truly helps with the wrist and up/down movement.
