It's the adult advent calendar - a pill for every day!

We call this thing the adult advent calendar. Each day, you open a door, and there's a little goody inside. How great is that? Granted, it's a pill and not chocolate or a toy. This thing would have to be so much bigger to accommodate candy and toys! The only down side with this contraption is that it's kind of big. It does not fit in your pocket, and does not fit in a medium sized purse. This is a low tech solution to medication compliance: the only requirements are opposable thumbs, and knowing what day it is and if it's a.m. or p.m. If you have mastered all of that, then you're in business. Open the little door for the correct day of the week and morning or evening, and then get your pills out, and VOILA!! Rinse and repeat.

A smal criticism

Hey it is 5 dollars, strong, snaps down well. It works perfectly. To make it perfect I think the writing should be right side up. When you are looking at AM from the side that opens the day of the week is upside down. But hey it is five bucks and does everything it should do.

Black letters wear off over time

A little difficult to open the tabs at first. The A.M and P.M writing on the tray ink goes away.

Daily doses helps

I like the colors but the individual compartments can be difficult to open sometimes; good for security but hurts my finger or thumb.

The most compact and durable week long pill box I've seen.

I've been using this for 3 months now and thought I would add an additional review. I've had probably 6 different pill boxes through my illness and spent a long time choosing this one, the the others have all had problems - too big, too many components, keep losing them, the lids break... I haven't had a single problem with this tiny yet sturdy little genius thing! This product really has been fantastic, it fits a week's worth of pills yet it's pocket sized! It maybe doesn't fit the largest of pills, however, I can easily fit two round paracetamol size pills, two smaller antihistamines plus an iron supplement with room to spare - that's quite a lot and will probably meet most peoples pill space requirements. Additionally, because it's so compact I don't end up losing it, I can just keep it with me and my pocket. I used to have a much larger system which did a full month's worth of tablets but actually I found this much more efficient. After 3 months of carrying it around constantly some of the day names have worn off a little bit, but otherwise it's been in perfect condition - I was concerned that the lids would tear off, but they're not even slightly loose - I don't take all my morning and evening pills at the same time so actually there's probably been about 6 months of use from this little pill box in terms of opening and closing lids. Still perfect. I really do rate this product it makes life a lot easier for people who are unwell. I have a few extra pills which I don't take in specific doses, I just have them when I need them - I keep these in a tiny salad dressing pot (I bought a pack of 6 x 25ml ones) between these two things they keep me well sorted!

Great size and clearly marked but 2 of the daily lids have broken off on opening them the second week of use which is very disappointing.

We first bought these in KL 4 years ago and used all the time, they eventually started to break on the hinges. But we found them on Amazon again ad they are great.

Not very sturdy

One of the lids broke off after 2 weeks! It’s great but not very sturdy!
