Great travel shirt, a bit wrinkly if you want to wear it other than activewear

I recently bought this shirt as well as a similar shirt made by Columbia for a March trip to Ecuador. Overall, this is a very nice shirt, but I personally did not like it as much as the Columbia shirt. Pros: + well made + pretty color + nice stretch + great UPF (I wore this all day and never burned) + nice pop up sun collar + nice roll sleeves Neutral - fairly fitted (could be a bit trimmer) - a little bit thicker material than the Columbia shirt (it didn't move quite as well) Cons: - wrinkles. I washed this as directed and it stayed very, very wrinkly. I can't image this would be iron-able, and the wrinkle did not come out (I don't expect it to be flawless, but it shouldn't look like it came out of the bottom of the hamper after it is washed and dried as directed) Overall a great travel shirt - particularly if you might be going somewhere you have cooler or if you want the option to later, roll the sleeves, or cover up if it gets chilly of buggy. If you're on safari or hiking the Appalachian Trail, you won't care it it gets wrinkled. If you're packing light for a trip to Europe or thinking you might wear it out to dinner with slacks, you might want to pick a different shirt.

Good quality, good design, narrow in the hips

Note: fitted shirt that runs narrow in the hips for the X-Small; rest of fit is snug, but on par with standard sizing. The "Vellum" color is much lighter than the photo on my computer screen; it's a soft, creamy ivory, not a light khaki. Very pretty, just not khaki. Excellent shirt. Very breathable with good UPF coverage. I greatly appreciate the intelligence of this shirt's design. The area around the bust pockets is double-lined, creating a bandeau effect in front that ensures the bust area is fully opaque (bonus for those of us wearing this shirt in a professional capacity and don't want to worry about sheerness in the bra region). There is a hidden side pocket on the left hip with a zipper closure. It's very well hidden; I didn't even notice it the first time I wore the shirt. The pocket is on the front of the hip instead of directly in front of the stomach near the buttons, which helps keep the shirt feeling lightweight and airy. On the back of the shirt, there is a double vent just above the hips for added air circulation. This shirt has a much more feminine and tailored fit than the standard outdoorsy shirt. The lowest part of the hips is very narrow. I'm petite and curvy. I usually go up a size in active/athletic pants to compensate for my hips being larger than the standard outdoorsy woman. Normally, I don't have problems with shirts, but I cannot comfortably button the bottom button of this shirt. It's doable, but it's tight and it doesn't look good. For me, this isn't an issue as I plan on leaving the last button undone and tucking in the shirt. Personally, I hate wearing boxy, baggy shirts, but if a looser fit is your thing or if you've got curvier hips, then order up one or two sizes.

After reading the other reviews, I decided to order a size larger. I usually wear a medium, ordered a large, but received a medium in the mail. Regardless, it fits perfectly fine with an exception of the sleeve cuffs which are a bit small. It is definitely more fitted in shape than many of the outdoors shirts I've purchased before. The color is true to the picture. The only negative is that it feels a bit stiff and I wish it were softer- hopefully it will soften a bit with use.

Love it

I love this shirt. I am 5'9", 140 pounds, small bust. I ordered a medium also and that looked chic - it fit my bust and waist better. But the sleeves were way too short. I like that the large is a little looser anyway, because I'm using it as a gardening shirt and it is cooler having more room for airflow. It does the trick, keeps the sun off my whole upper body, including my neck. It is light and breatheable. It dries quickly when I accidentally spray myself with the hose. It's been in the 80s and I have yet to feel sweaty while wearing this. Someday when I'm rich I'll buy more of these.

Its an ok shirt

It is an airy shirt that is made of a light weight material. It isnt made to be dressy and it does wrinkle. I found the shirt to be long. I am almost 5'6" and the shirt lenght hits me below the buttocks. That makes me feel very sloppy. The small was tight and the medium is large. But it was comfortable in the heat of the day, and I love the little side pocket. I also love where the sleeves hit me in the arms. But, a big deal breaker is the lenght of the shirt. Too bad :(

fits perfect for petite. Great travel shirt

I am small and the xs fits perfectly. The shirt is shaped and looks nice. It is very light weight and is easy to wash and fast drying for travel. The only downside is is wrinkles considerable.

Great price for an excellent brand.

I have a few shirts of this brand. I was shocked to find this for such a great price!! Flattering tapered side panel- not too form fitting. I bought a medium ( normally size 4 with long arms) and it fits great.

Too small

I wear a size 6. Bra size 34C. The medium was VERY snug and I would have been better off with a large but did not have time to return it before our hiking trip. If I gain a gram of fat, it will be too small to wear. Otherwise, the shirt was exactly as advertised. Great for active travel as it dries quickly. Lightweight.
