Great puzzle

crazy hard puzzle

You wouldn't think this puzzle would be so difficult, however, the pieces are oddly shaped and there is a large expanse that is comprised of shades of blue and green. This area took weeks to complete requiring shape fitting instead of color matching. My family bailed on me and mocked my efforts until I was down to the last few dozen pieces when they swooped in for a claim in the success. Though this requires steadfast commitment of putting in a handful of pieces per day, I have never had as great a sense of accomplishment for completing a puzzle as I did after this one. Note: I am not exaggerating. If you want a puzzle that you can finish in a couple of days then this is not your bag.

Colorful and difficult

I am a puzzle enthusiast and I appreciate the difficulty of this one. it is colorful, the pieces fit and hold well, the size is perfect, and the difficulty of the background around the frog is great.

Tough puzzle with all the same shape puzzle pieces

This puzzle could be doable - yes even the dark background of 500+ pieces that are all black/dark green-if the puzzle pieces weren’t all the same shape. And you don’t know that until you open the puzzle. It’s the first puzzle I’ve encountered with all same shape pieces. I have done harder puzzles than this in terms of lots of similarly coloured puzzle pieces but at least they had unique puzzle shapes ie not all 2 heads/2 holes like this one has. This is the first puzzle I’m going to have to give up on. Which is really hard for me to do. I was going to make this into a wall hanging (with puzzle glue) but I guess not. I’ve even tried grouping the remaining background pieces by head size - smaller, bigger, and by lighter and darker shades of green, some even black. But that hasn’t helped either. Ugh!

Great quality puzzle for any frog lovers! Have fun with the fact that about 500++ pieces are all variations of green for the background and will really test your patience!
