Plan on changing once per season

I have a smaller yard (maybe 1/8th acre) and have been super happy with Ego products that we have bought over the years. Install takes maybe 5 minutes. Some reviewers have mentioned the lack of new bolts, but I have had no issue re-using the bolts that came with the mower over 2 seasons. Grass is mulched very finely and when I use the mower to mulch up dry leaves it can almost turn the leaves into powder. Occasionally I may hit a stick or two that might be dime size thickness at most but this maybe happens 3-4 times per season as we don't have any trees on our yard. What I noticed is that these blades seem to get dinged up or dented quicker than blades I've used from past mowers. I don't mind buying a new one each season as I am too lazy to get it sharpened or hassle with it. Mulching ability is the best I've ever seen, but the blades may dull a bit quicker. Thats a trade-off I'm happy making.

Cuts the grass

Very sharp replacement or in my case, additional set of blades to make it faster to have a sharp set on the mower. Always good to have extra blades on hand just in case.

Kills battery life!

Used the new blades 1 time and it totally drained a fully charged battery that use to have enough juice in it to power the trimmer after using the mower. Not sure if im really getting any benefits or not. Time will tell

Nice cut, kills battery life

Following directions online, changed from the single blade to a dual blade on an ego LM2101. Gives a nice cut but adversely impacts battery life. Went from battery lasting 50 minutes to only lasting 30 minutes. I definitely need multiple batteries when using the dual blade setup.

Does the job...at a cost

The blades worked as intended. Lots of sucking power and mulching anything the blades come in contact with to fine shreds. Quite a bit louder than standard blade and drives the motor harder thereby sucking more battery power. Getting the nut, bolts, washers etc proved problematic so improvised using what I had.

Second set of blades allows us to swap out mid-year and keep sharp blades on the grass while we resharpen the others.
