Wrong style sent

The suit I received seems to be good quality but it’s a completely different cut/style than I ordered. It’s a gift and I don’t have time to exchange so we will live with it but it’s definitely not what I would have picked.

Wonderful fit. Cute as button. Fades over time.

It was a good fit and adjustable to boot. However, after 3 months of chlorine clean outdoor pool use, the green has faded 30%. If you look from far away you cannot tell. but I cringe every time I inspect it at home before washing it by hand. Fits my 9 year old. She's skinny and I didn't think it would fit her booty, but it did. Based on the item image and past experience thought the top fits but the undies would sag. That was not the case with these. A hug problem she has with 1-piece swimsuits is that, being skinny and having a long torso, it rides up her private parts and put pressure on her shoulders as she grows. I chose the string bikini because she can adjust it as she grows taller and she likes to get an even tan. Her butt is not getting any bigger for a while. So she'll be wearing this for 2 more yrs or so. The material is stretching but holds up to gentle diving and swishing around in the deep end. The downside: I've had to tell her to adjust her top sometimes but there's nothing to see. Downside 2: it fades in heavily chlorinated pools.

BEWARE!! You're getting a TANKINI not a BIKINI!

Aside from the fact that the product is listed as a bikini but is, in fact, a tankini, is the only complaint I have with this item. Initially, my daughter did not like it because she wanted a bikini. I had her try it on and the top isn't TOO long which is nice. There is a little bit of skin showing which is more than appropriate for a 12-year-old. My daughter is around 90 pounds and the 14 fits her perfectly, I wouldn't have sized up or down, but she is on the slender side so that is something to keep in mind. She's been in our saltwater pool several times and so far there is no fading, no stretching and no issues with the quality of the garment. I'd recommend as a suit for girls and/or parents that feel showing a little stomach is okay without leaving the top too exposed. :)

One of the cutest suits thus far!

We bought this one in addition to the red with white polka dots and so I am giving it the same review, except she is more fond of this style where as I like the polka dot better. So CUTE!! If your daughter is like mine......almost 11, on the taller side, very slim, starting to develop, and you CAN"T find a one piece to save your life that will fit her because of her long torso, this bathing suit is great! Since it is adjustable on the top it will fit a long time and the bottoms seem to have a little bit of room as well. Kanu's styles are all so cute, we had to keep two of them, could have kept all three but there's a limit to how many bathing suits one girl really needs. Now the test will be wear and tear.....hopefully it will last like her O'Neill did a couple years back.

Cute bikini with small town but good bottom coverage!

Cute swimsuit but the top is small! I ordered this swimsuit for my almost 13 year old in the 14-16 size. The bottoms fits great and offers good coverage. The top fits but don’t expect a lot of coverage for the bra top. My daughter is 5 feet, 97lbs, 25.5 waist and 31 chest.

Cute bikini for pre-teen

Finally let my almost-teen daughter get a bikini and this one is a great compromise. The tops not padded but the fabrics thicker and the bottoms are about as full coverage as you can find for a two piece. Plus the green polka dot pattern is super cute!

Wasn't the right fit we we're looking for.

The color is pretty and my daughter likes the style. I think the top sizing may not quite match the bottoms. The top was a little small. We tied it around her chest and made it tight enough that there were not gaps to speak of. The issue we ran into was when we then tied the neck in order to make sure it was tight enough, it moved the top up and then it was a little sketchy if it would provide more below where it should. Normally I wouldn't tie it so tight to avoid the moving, however this was the only way we could avoid any gaps in the top. The bottoms fit perfectly though. It should just be due to my daughters body type and others may have a better experience.

The cutest bikini ever!

This bikini is very cute and fits perfectly. It seems to be very well-made. I recommend that you buy one size up, so that your kid can wear it at least two summers.
