Why do they even make the curved type?
I bought these clippers for my husband and our son who both suffer from ingrown toe nails on the recommendation from my brother-in-law. he told me that he had bought a pair of straight clippers years ago and if I could ever find a pair to get them and we would never have ingrown toe nails again. Well I must say the guys are very happy as they work like a charm. What I didn't realize is how great they would work for myself. Now I don't get ingrown nails but those curved clippers always left a mess that I would have to sand to straighten out, but these are just perfect. Nice straight clean cut with no rough spots.

High quality
I suppose you could say these are a standard size of toenail clippers. Blades are sharp (which isn't always the case with clippers) and good quality for the money.

A godsend for people prone to ingrown toenails
These are good clippers. Straight across and large so you can trim your big toe nail perfectly straight. If you use a curved clipper, it can lead to ingrown problems. Ever since buying these my sore toes haven’t had a single issue. The threat of ingrown nails has gone. Make a nice clean cut, unlike others that leave a slightly ragged edge that then must be filed.

Ok, so I actually purchased these to cut glitter, lol. Do you know how hard it is to find nippers that do not have a curve to them - I'll tell you it is hard. I found these purchased them and they work great for what I need them to do. As far as if they are good for nails I have no clue.

Don't you hate those curved nail clippers and trying to clip your big toenail neatly, and not in a series of awkward half moon shapes? These clippers are much better, and clip even the most hoof-like toenail.

Worst quality I ve ever seen
This clipper is very poorly made, the edge is not straight, not sharp, and two sides don’t even meet, not even close, it’s like that clipper has an overbite. And THIS ITEM IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN. Buyer be aware.
