Changes everything!

I was going to be limited in my handle options because of the length of my cartridge stems, but these are so universal and adaptable that I was able to get the ones I wanted instead of being stuck with the type I had. Excellent product!

Good, but not that universal

If you have the right valve housing and it is mounted the right distance from the wall, this looks like it would be good. However, it has three problems. One, the valve handle, that it is shown on Amazon with, does not fit this. If you look at the handle, at the base of the handle's own flange, there is a lip. That tis meant to exactly fit into this flange that rests up agains the wall. It does not fit at all. It's too small. The second problem is about that it offers you two distances from the wall, one with the nipple and one without. However, it does not work unless you are working with either of those distances exactly. The third problem is that it really is not designed for many valve stems. only some.

Didn't fit our shower

We bought this product while redoing basement bathroom. We found that this kit didn't fit our older-style faucets. If we had of known how hard it was to find alternate knobs for the separate hot and cold knobs we would have paid the extra money for a plumber to fuse the hot and cold lines together to have more options. Either way, we were able to return these and had no issues with the seller. Really wished they had of worked out!

Did what I needed

Updating the bathroom in an old house is not for the faint of heart. Ended up needing two sets of these because we had to use two of the long extenders to get it to work but it worked.
