Great addition to my costume inventory
Was pleasantly surprised by how nicely this costume fitted. I liked all the extra bits it came with but in the end did not wear the boot covers. Material was pretty good...a step up from normal thin costume material. Loved the mask - it was designed well and was very comfortable and durable. I will wear this costume again!!

Not a big fan of the eyeholes in the mask. The slits where a little yo small for me. But still looked good. Received many compliments

POW, BAM, TOO CUTE!
I purchased this costume to wear to the San Francisco Comic Con and hoped that I could get through the entire day in comfort. I would say that I pretty much accomplished that. Because the dress was a little short, I opted to wear leggings. As a result of the leggings, the shoe covers would not stay in place around my thighs and would slip and slouch down around my ankles. The arm bands didn't stay in place on my forearms. They would slouch and bunch up around my wrists. I also had to make three modifications to the costume: 1) remove the elastic on the mask and replace it with ribbon. The velcro on each end of the elastic was so tiny that it wouldn't stay fastened. 2) sew the elastic velcro on the bottom of the shoe covers. Again, the velcro on each end of the elastic was so tiny that it wouldn't stay fastened 3) Added carpet tape to the tip of my shoe to hold the shoe covers in place. I went through all this trouble in order to cover some really comfortable shoes since I was going to be on my feet all day. Otherwise, disregarding the shoe covers all together and adding your own pair of black boots would have done the trick! Positives: Super comfortable, cape stayed fastened and in place, mask was super comfortable, belt is easily adjustable as it is tied around your waist/hips. When shoe covers slouched, they looked like uggs. The arm bands still looked good even though they didn't stay in place. Very pleased with this costume and got a ton of compliments!

Pleasantly surprised
I dread buying clothes online and have always struggled to find costumes that fit since the "XL" is usually not comparable to an XL in normal clothing. I ordered this because of reviews from last year. The fabric quality is not the best but its shiny and pleather (which does match the image as well for most batwoman costumes). The dress fits well and would be flattering to a lot of different body types and the fabric is soft and comfortable, slightly stretchy. The arm things and the boot extenders are too big for me (length and width). The cape is a bit too big so it attaches a little funny but it will certainly work. For the price (I think it was on sale when I ordered it because it is a bit more now) and comfort, I am very pleased with this purchase. My toddler is so excited we can match for halloween.

Some flaws, but overall happy with my choice
I had moderate expectations for how this would work, but it was great. The dress fit just right (a bit roomy, but just enough to be comfortable). The arm and leg coverings make you about 20 degrees warmer - not a problem in cooler climates, but LA was sweltering, so at one point I took off the arm coverings. The boot covers didn't actually look that great on the shoes I wore (it was like wearing baggy legwarmers on your feet) but looked awesome tight on my legs. (My calves usually require "extended calves" when I buy boots - these were snug, but they went on.) Some notes: The cape doesn't exactly lay right, but it's workable. The belt is a little odd - the yellow sash that makes it adjustable to any size looks really weird. But the mask is actually the most challenging. The velcro that held the tabs together was worthless - I separated them once and they never stuck again. Luckily, my friend MacGyvered it by replacing the elastic band with an old long hair band that was also made of elastic - using a glue gun and fresh velcro, she saved the day. On the whole, my friends pronounced it a hot costume that was surprisingly flattering and not terribly immodest, even. I felt sexy and powerful and not overexposed. In a word, like a hero.

Good costume!
Overall this was a great costume. Very comfortable to wear and flattering fit. At first I thought the cape was sewn to the dress, but to my surprise it is attached with velcro! I found this to be a good feature in case the cape got to be annoying, or you want to throw a jacket on over the costume you can remove the cape and re-attach easily. The gauntlets fit pretty well, they would fall down once in awhile, but it was not bothersome to me. My only complaints are that the costume was rather short on me and my behind was BARELY covered. (I'm 5"8") I recommend buying cotton leggings for this costume. I ended up not using the mask that came with it or the boot tops. The mask has an elastic band that velcros in the back, and when I tried it on it kept literally flying off my face because it was too small. The boot tops weren't a problem, I already have a few pairs of knee boots and didn't see the sense in using them. I give this costume 4/5. I didn't use the mask or boot tops, but really you get a lot in this costume and the price was pretty cheap. I felt comfortable all night in this costume. It did not cling to my skin and fit nicely in all the right places. I wear a size 16 typically and I would say this fit a little loose and an 18/20 would def be able to wear this comfortably. It would probably be pretty baggy on a size 14.
