Not for long term or extreme cold

I had bought these for work on Alaska's north slope which has the worst possible weather. They are ok in -20 F and above but anything below its not recommended. In -30 F without them being on your hands and slowly absorbing the heat away the fingers of the gloves get all stiff and cold, even on the inside. And to add, I work 12hrs a day and the gloves already have started tearing at the seams after about 3 weeks. I have even used the same pair of gloves just snow blowing outside around 0 F for about 1hr and my fingers started getting cold. I think they just lack proper insulation in the fingers.
