Dead battery

I love the look of this watch, but I refuse to accept an item with a dead battery. Sorry.

Great service and replacement of my purchase!

First, I just want to say that I'm a dedicated Amazon Prime customer. I order from Amazon all the time and most of the time I'm completely satisfied. I decided to buy myself a birthday present on Cyber Monday and they had a Peugeot watch worth $195 on sale for $58. I totally wanted this watch. Well, with my Prime account I had it in a couple of days (about 2 weeks before my birthday). A couple days later, I was riding on the Metro to work when I felt something loose in my glove. My ceramic watchband had lost the pin that held it to the watch face. I thought, well, there's a jeweller near where I work, I'll have them fix it. It shouldn't be difficult. No, they couldn't fix it. The pin in question was installed in the factory and that is the only way it could be replaced. I was disheartened. Well, I tentatively went to the Amazon website and checked out the replacement policy. All I had to do was basically ask. They would send me another one in 2 days and I would need to send my defective one within 30 days or they would charge me $58 again. Well, guess what arrived on my birthday. I'm not kidding. Love you Amazon!

Dead Battery on two of these watches

I ordered this watch for Christmas. Got it in one day....opened it the day after Christmas...Dead battery. Ordered it again on Jan 2nd- got it 10 days later. Again DEAD BATTERY & the second hand would not go counter clockwise. WTFrig. Called Peugeot and as it was not their problem to store items for longer than the battery life, they said I could send it to them for a new battery. I will NEVER buy another watch from Amazon again. Know that at least over a dozen or more customers had the same problem. Too many watches stored in warehouses that were so long the batteries ran down...in spite of the plastic pins that were still in place. Angry is an understatement. Customer reps were very helpful however. Going to send back and get my full refunds. If they say only one left, order soon....buyer beware...there were a lot of last call for this watch...I know, I bought two of them in three weeks.

Ordered 2 Times. Both Dead Battery - but beautiful

I have now ordered this watch 2 times and both batteries have been dead on arrival. How can this happen?? I either have to return or take to a local jeweler and pay for a battery. I just ordered a leather strap Peugeot watch. Hope it works, if not I AM DONE!

Beautiful watch.

Beautifully watch. Stunning, lovely white ceramic link bracelet, with arose gold case, and it's Facebook fully s by Swarovski crystals and a combination of rose gold Roman numerals and crystals on the face itself. It keeps good time. I have only one complaint. My wrists and arms are fuller than those of most women and it would have been nice if the bracelet were even ½ inch longer than it is. I think it is possible to send it back to Peugeot to get the bracelet lengthened but I have not wanted to let it be away from me. I may still do that though. I have seen many watches of this ilk for sale on Amazon and elsewhere, but this one is the prettiest one of all of them, in my opinion.

So far, so good

Very pretty watch. I was lucky that a local jeweler was able to take two entire links out, otherwise it was way too big for my wrist. This is made for a larger woman's wrist, so keep that in mind if you don't have someone that can take out the extra links. I'm allergic to most metals, so decided to try this ceramic and see if I could wear it. So far I haven't had any problems, but I have only worn it a couple times. Time will tell if the ceramic is durable and hypoallergenic.

The watch looks much better in person than in the picture

The watch looks much better in person than in the picture, the color is kind of a cream color, the crystals have a beautifull shine, the material is very nice and the weight is perfect, but unless I am wearing my glasses, it's hard to tell time since the face and the hands of the watch are the same gold tone, I have other watches and I can tell time without wearing glasses. I am still keeping it.

UPDATE: SHIPPED WITH DEAD BATTERY. FAIL.

Looks good. Nice weight. TOO BAD THE BATTERY IS DEAD. $14.12 for a new battery. OR for "9.95 for shipping" I can get a free battery from Peugeot. WTF? Got a battery from my local watch repair. He said, "This battery is drained. They may have put an old battery in here." NEVER buy from this seller again. I'm so glad I hadn't given it to my girlfriend just yet.
