Great Watch

As a disclaimer, let me preface this review by saying I am not a diver and I have not worn this watch diving nor do I intend to. Rather, I purchased this watch because I wanted a watch that would be truly waterproof and this one looked great. After having the watch for a while now, I can say that I love it. I have several other watches, but this one has quickly become my favorite. It has a clean design and a great appearance, but more importantly, I prefer this watch because of its price. Most of my other watches are all way more expensive, and that makes me hesitant to wear them for everyday use or when traveling, because if they were damaged or stolen, replacement/repair would be extremely expensive. However, at just over $60, this watch is perfect, because I could replace or repair it if it was damaged or stolen without having to spend hundreds. Another great thing about this Invicta watch is that it is rugged. Despite the fact that this watch looks like a regular watch, it seems to be beautifully engineered with subtle features to stand up to any conditions. Since getting this watch, I have worn it in the shower, while washing dishes, swimming in Icelandic hot springs, and while climbing a glacier. I have exposed this watch to temperatures below 0 F and above 110 F, and even after being thrown into these environments and situations that would ruin a regular watch, this one keeps ticking. The only complaint I can possibly think of is the glow on the clock hands and the hour-markers is not overly bright and it does not last long. By comparison, the hands on a Citizen watch I own glow much brighter than the hands of the Invicta watch, and the glow effect of the Citizen watch seems to last longer than the glow effect of the Invicta watch. However, also by comparison, I have a Bulova watch whose luminous glow is even fainter than the Invicta watch and the Bulova watch's glow seems to fade away even faster than the Invicta, so the Invicta watch's luminous paint is certainly not terrible, but it isn't great. All of that said, this complaint is very minor and it is not enough to reduce my rating from 5/5 to 4/5. Taking into account its durability, expensive appearance, and low price, this watch has absolutely become my favorite. I do not regret buying it, and I would buy it again. It is well worth the cost.

A well-received gift

I bought this as a gift and the recipient really likes the watch. He says that it is comfortable and not too heavy, as some Invicta watches can be. The gold tone is rich-looking and garners a lot of compliments. It keeps accurate time thus far. When received the band was way too big but a jeweler was able to remove links to make it a perfect fit. All in all he is very pleased with the watch. I'm thinking about buying myself one as well.

Beautiful Timepiece

Great watch nothing but nice things to say about it! I like the fact that the watch is a little smaller than some other models because I prefer a smaller watch. I decided to purchase this model over some of the others because it was smaller, to me a big watch gets in the way. Looks like it costs way more than slightly over 60 bucks, very beautiful watch!

Great looking smaller gold watch.

Beautiful watch. Smaller than some of my others, but it's the same size as my Rolex Datejust (38mm). Invicta has several similar models that vary in size. If you've got a smaller wrist or just like smaller (but still men's) watches, this is a great one. Would also be great for smaller teenager or older man. Thrilled with the quality and workmanship of this and my other Invictas. Also love Invicta's safety clasp that won't pop open.

Just buy the silver one..

I've had this watch for 9 months and the gold plating is coming off all the way around the band. It looks horrible and I've had cheaper watches where the gold NEVER wore off.

Watch is absolutely beautiful ordered it while it was on sale for 80$ has a very nice weight only thing I don't care for to much is how hard the pins are to take out other then that it's a phenomenal time piece I'll be getting my father one for Christmas
