As others mentioned doesnt get running lights. I cut the bown wite near the plug and stripped it back. Above the plug in is a bundle of wires.. the grey wire was my running lights.. spliced brown wire to that and all is working.

30 second installation with no real struggle!

Took 30 seconds to install on my 2015 Xterra Pro4x and that was because the connector cover was a bit of a struggle. Definitely recommend buying in conjunction with the curt 4 pin connector mount

2022 Frontier

Worked great on my new Nissan Frontier. There's a plugged connector under the left (driver) side. Just remove the plug and insert the line cord into it. There's more than enough wiring so I just wrapped it around the hitch to take up the slack.

Good product but you may need a bit more than just this to get your trailer hooked up with all lights working

Seems fine, but you might need http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006VN3GHY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I purchased this T-Connector and when I hooked up a new trailer to the connector that is already there from the factory (2012 Xterra), I got brake lights and turn signals but no running lights (the lights that come on the car and trailer when you turn on the headlights). After quite a bit of experimenting and research, I found that you need the "Tow Ready 118525 T-One Connector Assembly" to get those running lights to work. I will update if I find different, but this is my understanding at this point and will only change this if it proves to be false. The T-One assemble comes with some other connecters that need to be attached elsewhere on the vehicle to get that final function (running lights) to work. Pretty messed up in my opinion. If you have all the wiring running back there, why not have it all wired properly for the most common use, which is hooking up a trailer. Of course, that is Nissan and not Curt or their wires. Although I feel Curt should be letting people know in the descriptions of this product that it is most likely they need the other for their modern era Nissan's.

Plug & play!

Easy to use plug & go on a 2019 Frontier. As was expected (From reviews) this wiring harness supplies flashers & brake lights to the trailer but the running lights will not work. Nissan omitted to include that in the factory plug on the truck side for whatever reason. Probably could just pig tail off the truck if you really want to have them working for night driving. 4 stars good product, manufacturer should disclose the part about it not being true plug & play though.

It turns out it wasn't the wiring harness that was the problem. Nissan had a recall on the trailer lights years ago. The fix included installing a set of fuses under the dash above the accelerator pedal which they never informed anyone. The left side lights were not working because the newly installed left side fuse was blown.
