Goes On Clear But Pills

This goes on pretty clear but it does pill if you try to put anything over it. I like that it is not greasy though, and sinks in really quickly.

Not for my skintype, but...

I had to return this. I was hoping it would work for me because I love the formula of the Sun Silk Drops. Unfortunately the sunscreen actives in the Drops irritate and burn my eyes, and cause breakouts on my skin if I try to use them regularly. I was thinking maybe the mineral Sun Silk formula would be better, but it's far too moisturizing for my skin, and it leaves a pasty while cast that looks like a mixture of vaseline and chalk. Makeup didn't work to cover it up, because it wound up lightening my foundation, making me look ridiculous. The good thing that came out of this return was I decided to trade it for Coola Mineral Cucumber Matte Finish sunscreen and I love it! It's amazing that the same company makes mineral sunscreen formulas that have such vastly different results on skin, but I guess that's why there are thousands of different sunscreens on the market. The trick is finding the one that works for your skin. I was worried that the Coola Matte sunscreen would be thick and occlusive like some that I've tried from La Roche Posay, but it's the opposite. It's even lighter feeling in texture than EltaMD UVClear. I switched from EltaMD because I feel that physical sunblocks work better with my makeup, last longer when I swim, and don't get "watered down" as easily when other products are on my face. I have no idea if this is scientifically provable beyond my own observations, with my personal products, though. This may not be the case for everybody.

Worth the Money!

My sensitive, mature skin needs a double layer of sunscreen. This works great as the first layer. My CC cream with SPF goes on smoothly after this product. It is not cheap!

Love the texture and zero fragrance, but runs out fast

This is a truly unscented product that I love. I leaves a little white cast that can be easily rubbed in. Super lightweight and somewhat moisturizing, but I also have combo/oily skin. No breakouts whatsoever for my acne-prone skin. My only gripe is that I use two pumps a day, and it seems to be running out exponentially fast! This is a pricier product, and I absolutely love it, but for how fast it runs out, I seriously have to break a piggy bank to purchase another.

Really good sunscreen

I really like this product. No scent, spread evenly, and did not irritate my sensitive-acne prone skin. I would love to order more but I've used mine 5x and it looks like its almost 1/2 gone. For the price compared with how much product you receive is way too expensive to continue to buy if it is a product that you will use everday.

Stings around my eyes, pills up when covered with other products

I bought this hoping to find a sunscreen product that works around my eyes and does not sting. Unfortunately this is not it. Also, I put it on after serum and moisturizer and it caked up and left a white cast. So I tried a CC cream over it and that pilled badly. I don't still have the box or I would return it. I guess I can use it for sun protection on my neck and chest.

Goes on great!

I'm undecided about this product. It definitely feels great going on and if I'm not wearing makeup if feels great. But when I pair it with a medium coverage foundation it feels tacky and the foundation doesn't look smooth. I might try the tinted version next. I'm a fan otherwise.

Very small bottle

Coola is an amazing product. The Montage offers it poolside. I fell in love. I choose to purchase this product to use on my body and was very surprised by the tiny bottle it came in, for the price. The bottle is the size more commonly used for a facial moisturizer… Not a moisturizer to take by the pool for your entire body. It was more like a travel size. Otherwise product is on par with Coola products.
