1/6 Scale Military Hummer Great Buy!

I like that the entire Hummer has a realistic look and any 1/6 scale-barbie size doll can fit. It's very big and all the doors and trunk will open. What I don't like is the hood doesn't open. And I wish it came with real working lights. But still a good buy for collection or child's playtime.

The hit at Christmas!

Bought for my 5 year old grandson as a gift from my mother. He loved it! I am not sure who was more excited- my grandson or my son (who had one similar to it when he was little). My grandson plays with his GI Joe dolls and my granddaughter plays with her Barbies! The GIJoes can save Barbie from the bad guys and whisk her away to safety in the Hummer !

Looks better than product picture

Only(?) mass market(i.e. remotely affordable) 1/6 scale military vehicle available. Color is darker, camo job better than one in product picture. Snugly fits classic GI Joes, rooftop grenade launcher(not a machine gun per product description) turret ring rotates, along with figure if it's standing on turret ring base inside cab(cool feature). Littler(and some biggler) ones might get impatient with finessing closing the 4 doors and rear hatch but if I can do it anyone can. Reviewer who complained Ken doll couldn't fit inside should know Ken dolls were made to be runned over by Humvees not to drive 'em.

Previously had sound effects!

This has great play value! I really like the look of the gas can and weapon. I like this is the only hummer of the 12" size with its stack raised and I like that the roof is completely enclosed. The GI Joe Humvee with grenade launcher is bigger and its launcher fires but, is all open in back, except for the front cab. This WP figure is the only 1 of 3 I've bought whose hands are slightly malleable, which provides better grip and getting objects in and out. The Secret Agent and Marine in jeans figures I bought thinking they also had slightly flexible hands, may have been older designs, as their hands are rigid and have no give to them. Overall, great playset with a highly poseable figure. I just wish the stack could be twisted so that it collapses into the hood and, that they found a way for the grenade launcher to retain its sound effects feature. Slightly pricy at $100 and tax, but I was happy with the purchase!

Big wow but big disappointment

We were so impressed upon arrival with the size and detail. But unfortunately, like most toys these days, it was cheaply made entirely out of light plastic. Within 24 hours of opening one of the front wheels bound up and completely busted off without any hope of repairing. I am so bummed because everyone was so excited and pleased initially. More of a collectors item then a child’s toy.

Good Value for Large Scale Action Figure

This is a good purchase for an accessorie 12 inch action figures. At a good price point too. My son loves to do his set ups with this Hummer. And there are tons of add ons too! I would recommend this for children who are into military toys and love to use their imagination.

Very cheaply made

This is a very cool but very cheaply made toy. The antenna and the handle to the mounted gun broke off within the first hour of play. (Normal not rough play) The trunk door is extremely easy to accidentally dislodge. I was able to reattach but how many times will this happen before it breaks? For the price, I figured this would be made out of hard thick plastic or even metal. This is not the case. It is thin thin plastic rendering the toy very fragile. Overall my little one loves it, but I am thinking it will just not last.
