CLC Custom Leathercraft V237 Swivel Kneepads, Stitched, Plastic Cap. Brand: Custom Leathercraft Not one size fits all. The label says: “One size fits all.”, but not really. If you have a large calf muscle, you may have difficulty hooking up the bottom buckle, even with the bottom strap adjusted as loose as possible. The bottom straps should be a couple of inches longer. These pads are not labelled left or right, and the picture of the carpet installer has the buckles on the outside of his leg, while the picture of the mason has the buckles on the inside of his leg. Whatever works for you, I guess, depending on which way the buckles are easiest for you to unhook. The plastic caps on these pads are not suited for roofers, as the pad does not grip the roof and may cause a roofer to slide down onto the exterior staging while working on a sloped roof. A harness and safety line is needed if you are doing roofing while using these pads with hard plastic caps. These pads are not really suited for carpet installers, as there is no flat knee pad in front for pushing carpet tools into place. The large plastic cap would make them good for landscaping, as they would be easy to clean off after using them, and they would not soak up water while kneeling on wet ground. The hard plastic cap would resist wear while working on masonry, plumbing, HVAC, framing, and wire installations. Good for light duty.
Bought some of these for home use and liked them so much I tried them at work. Alas the plastic did not withstand the a use of concrete kneeling everyday. I do like the adjustable leg straps though they do tend to slide down a bit when walking

Those barbs work too well and sometimes it's hard to take the kneepads off which gets old pretty quick.
They work well as knee protection, so no complaints there. But, the straps have these extra barbs on the ends that are designed to make sure they don't come undone. Those barbs work too well and sometimes it's hard to take the kneepads off which gets old pretty quick.
