Great but with some minor negatives

UPDATE: Jan 8, 2022 - Continued to use the pads after the stitching peeled and it's still holding up well even after a few falls. The rubber strip on the inside that grips the leg has started to rip off but still hasn't caused me issues. Changing my rating to five stars given the long term durability. UPDATE: Jun 9, 2020 - Truly 4 stars now as G Form support was very helpful with the stitching issue. This really should be 3.5 stars. While it is comfortable and does its job for the most part, the stitching is coming loose only after a few rides. I haven't even fallen with it to cause any of this. Just have simply slipped it on and off a handful of times. I am actually not confident this will last through more than a full season of riding.

Horrible Size Issue - Buyer Beware

This is a pain. I am a small in stature and usually find myself an XS. I sized up due to comments here in the reviews and IT IS STILL TOO SMALL. It feels uncomfortable as soon as I put it on and you can see how it is cutting off circulation to my leg. On one leg it is tearing away at the seam. I can't wear these out riding for hours. In no way should I be a medium. Now I am concerned they will slip down if I get them any larger. I am returning these and going for another company. Thanks for the waste of time.

Good protection with high mobility

These work for me. They stay in place and still are comfortable. Crash today in a rocky technical section and they saved my knee. I was super glad I had them on. I’m 5’4 120lbs and the smalls fit me well.

Use it to protect my knees when kneeling for Snowboarding (But Not as much protection as expected)

I don't believe that a thin, flexible pad would provide much protection upon serious impact. I read about G-forms while researching mtb body pads and wanted to buy into the hype, but after experiencing some falls while inline skating, I've decided that this pad is good for general lining only. For more impact sports--like skating & mtb, I use other harder & larger pads (like Raceface and 187).

Just OK!

I’ve worn them 6 times. They don’t stay up around the knee the way I was hoping they would (even with the mindset that they would slide down a bit) making them uncomfortable during my ride. Also before my last ride I walked by a full length mirror and noticed that one pad is smaller than the other. Quality control missed this one.

Don’t even notice they are on

The media could not be loaded. Lightweight and material feels good on the skin. Breathable material. The padding is good and does not restrict you from movements. I bought four of these for my family. Highly recommend these.

Nice protection but really tight

Really nice product but I gotta say the comfort is not really there. It is really tight even if I bought the right size for my measurements.

Good quality, would buy again

These are great. Use them for mountain biking. As a fairly aggressive rider, these are very flexible, light weight, and provide a decent amount of coverage. I sized up to allow for quad pump which was a good call as they’re pretty snug.

Decent value, but comfort issues

I am neutral about these pads. I've used them for a few months, and the first and only fall on them left a rip in the stretchy lycra portion (and I got scratched underneath it, I took the pictures months later). However, you can see some cuts on the foam that did protect my knee during that fall, and the rip hasn't gotten any bigger through use, so that's good. My biggest problem is with comfort. For some reason, if I position it centered on my kneecap, then it really bothers my knee and causes pain during pedaling (almost like the kneecap isn't free to move while I pedal). I have to wear them slightly lower than where the should be for my leg to fully bend and be comfortable, which leaves more of my upper knee/leg vulnerable during a fall. They also don't make me feel hot during the summer which is good. Overall, they're ok and do add some protection, I just wish they were more durable and comfortable.
