Champion can be counted on to provide a quality product and these pants are no exception...EXCEPT...they are petty much as most review descriptions here cite. Good quality, however, I found that for my body type...much older male, short 5'8", 140lbs, small frame...the Medium size was a bit short for my personal preference..I was searching for something just below the calf...and, this style also has a large 'cuff' so tend to be a bit short for my desire, and because of my smaller calf muscle tend, also, to ride up to just below my knees. Further, the percent of spandex felt less than advertised, but are still barely ok with me, given the quality material. I kept these as a summer, at home weight training option, but not what I really had sought in a 3/4 length 'compression' pant for men. Note: I had previously tried two other brands sold on Amazon, but in both cases the description of percent spandex was more than actually listed on the product label, so I returned them. Actually, by this purchase, I was experiencing 'buyer fatigue', so just kept them as an inexpensive option..and to remind me of the 'buyer beware' precept. Finding more 'misleading' advertising on Amazon lately, where wearing apparel is concerned..or, is this just me? My advice... 'medium' size is a good product for short guys with big 'ole calves.

I'm about a 35" waist , 6 foot +, and find the Large a good fit.
Good compression. Wear them for Hiking, Use calf compression as well. The waist is a good height and does not roll or sag during long work-outs. I own champion 7" compression shorts and find these a magnitude better in support. Now own 3 pair of these 3/4's. A half dozen of the 7" size. . Important to pick the right waist size. I am happy with the Large.

Finally found in white, compression shorts/pants, which have a great fit, great compression!
I have been searching for compression shorts to go under my white basketball shorts uniform, which don't have a lining to conceal the black compression shorts I already have. I have wasted money on ones that aren't long enough, are too thin to be compression, are made out of cotton, etc... I was hesitant about these being a longer version. However, they honestly , and if I don't say so myself look great under my shorts. They look very similar to what Allen Iverson wore when he was in the NBA, although he wore leggings if I am not mistaken. Anyway, the compression is great, material think enough, yet not too thick. The only reason I don't give these 5 stars is because the waistband is black and the logo on the bottom of the left leg. No biggie, but it is directly below the Adidas logo on my shorts.

Good, but thin
Good fit and comfortable. The compression on these is not very tight, I find them slightly tighter than leggings but not by much. The back does get sheer and transparent when stretched and in bright light. If you are doing any stretching or squats (or tie your shoes) you probably want to wear shorts over the top, or at least make sure nobody is behind you. I did the 'camera flash' test and the transparency was less of an issue standing upright but your underwear (or lack of) will probably still be slightly visible as you move. This may be less of an issue with the lighter colored pants. The front panel is a double layered mesh. This area is not at all transparent, and the layered fabric helps hold things down and in place and less noticeable than some tights.

These are great. I'm a 36" to 38" waist depending on the brand of pants I buy. I bought the XL size and they fit great. I think if I had gone with the large they would have been too small. The fabric is good quality and they are very comfortable to wear. I bought these for doing Bootcamp workout classes and yoga and they work great. So much better than the boardshorts I was wearing before. They are so much more flexible.

size matters
Very important to know your size. They are very comfortable, but can only stretch but so much; So if you are a regular guy, you may want to get a size bigger. But again, it all depends on your comfort level. Overall, I love this product. I wish i could buy more.

Great look but SMALL was way too tight and WHITE was too transparent...
I followed the size guide (small = 30 waistline) when purchasing these tights but they were so tight I couldn't even get them over my slim hips. If you wear a size 30 pant, as I do, I would even suggest trying a large size in these tights. Another factor that led me to return the tights was that the white was way too transparent. I tend to wear dark colored underwear, and you can see everything through these tights. The appearance is great and I would purchase these tights in black if they weren't out of my price range ($47).
