The least intuitive mechanism for setting the time and alarm that I've ever experienced

I don't understand the designer's thought process for this Bulova. It has a single button and a cumbersome process for pushing and holding until it spins to almost the right time. So if the dial happens to show 12:00 when you first get it, but it's 10:00 your time, then you have to hold and wait until it eventually spins to 10:00. But when you get close, you have to let go. Then you repeatedly push the button to move it minute-by-minute. There's no way to go backward on the dial nor can you get it to spin faster. The alarm is similarly limited cumbersome to set. It's frustrating. (by contrast, my existing analog clock has a very easy-to-use dial/knob that you spin to set the time and another dial/knob to set the alarm. ) The clock has a nice automatic light, but even the slightest tremor will cause it to light up. I wanted to like this clock, but I had to return it because of these issues.
