Very sticky, apply like caulk; Use baking soda/powder/talc then hand cream to clean up
Should prevent or deter anything small that walks from doing so, and the tube fits in a standard caulking run. USE GLOVES. You may want to clean and cover the section that you want to put the gel/goop on with tape (like T-Rex) unless it is painted. Avoid trying to apply if goop is cold. Usually best to apply two separate lines of the gel on flat surfaces. Heat will result in some dripping. To clean up, using gloves, first remove what you can by lifting it up and off with a rag, then cover well with lots of fine baking soda or powder or talc, mix it in (old toothbrush), wipe and repeat. You may find that repeating this is all that is required. If not, then you wipe and cover and scrub with cheap hand lotion (like Cocoa Butter). Then wash with hot water. Wait a bit and then repeat as necessary if still sticky. Wrap old mixing instrument in paper and discard. Hope this helps. PBJ.

Wow it works but you need muscles and patience to get it out
Had issues with sparrows perching on the hood of the deck awning and making a mess. Took a chance on this. It was hard to squeeze out, almost gave up but in the end managed to get the thick gel out. Two weeks so far and no evidence of birds perching on the awning hood. Will update if anything changes.

Seems To Work
I've had my fair share of birds trying to consistently nest around the roof top area, I did manage to stop that for good with some expanding foam but then they took a fond interest on hanging around my doorbell for some odd reason. It would trigger alerts non stop during the night, so I decided to try out this and put some on the top of my doorbell. Within the next 4-5 hours of applying it, one bird landed on it and didn't like it at all and flew off and haven't seen them since then. The product is on the messy side of things once something gets caught in it but nothing like rubbing alcohol can't take care of.

The product works
For the past 10 days a very feisty robin has been trying to build a nest on the wood beam underneath the balcony above my condo patio. Every day I would clean up the mess on my concrete patio and beam above with a brush and broom. Finally decided enough was enough. I bought the product and put beads of the gel all over the top of the beam until the tube ran out. Well, it's been 48 hours and not a twig or mud any where to be seen. I'm quite pleased. It really works.

REALLY WORKS!
The birds used to build nest ( or try to ) in the crossbeam of my tiki cabana above my hot tub every year. This stuff is great! I 1st used it 3 years ago and it lasted for all 3 springs. I just noticed that the birds are trying to make a nest this year. I just put this gel above the upper beam 2 days ago and they have completely stopped trying to make a nest again! I don't even see the gel becuase it is on the topside of the beam so it's not an eyesore. You will just need a caulk gun. Now we can get in our hot tub at night with out the birds screaming at us like they used to. I give a big thumbs up to this bird repellant gel! Get it!

Not a good solution
Honestly, this company should discontinue this product. I had used it on the top of my outdoor ceiling hanging lights. One song bird got stuck in the glue like substance, some feathers got stuck up there , and when I found the bird it was on my concrete floor. With the glue like resin all over its wings and I felt bad because i thought this was a deterrent , not a glue trap. This is not going to deter other birds. Your better off putting a fake owl out somewhere

Stands up to the Arizona heat.
Well, I’m not one typically do a review. But the complexity of this one struck a cord with me. My first hesitation was in regards to wondering if it would just melt off in our AZ heat. Saw another review that said it would not. I totally agree. It stayed put and did not get fazed by our summer heat one bit. I was so happy with results of the first tube that I ordered another one but was still a bit short even after 2. The birds were gone instantly. It was amazing. My cars were getting assaulted by the birds. Like beyond belief. It was easy to install, not visually offensive. But then about the time the 3rd tube showed up, so did the monsoons. Here is where I lost a bit of my excitement. The leaves and sticks dropping from the tree in the storms would land in the gel and then fall further onto our cars. So about 3-4 weeks in and I was totally regretting my decision. I hesitated to use the 3rd one I ordered. Birds were gone, but now I had the most sticky gel spots, all over my cars. At this point I totally regretted putting this up. A few more weeks passed and I started to get a little bit of bird droppings again in one spot. I ventured up into the tree to find one area I didn’t get very well. I also noticed that most of the gel had a nice coating of very small debris, bugs and other fun stuff. I had also noticed the amount of gel hitting the cars had slowed way down as well. So I decided to go ahead and use the 3 tube on the spot I missed, and the other areas I hadn’t done. That was about 3 weeks or so ago. Still not getting much at all of the gel coated leaves and sticks coming down. At this point I’m torn, I don’t know if I would go this route or try using the spikes. The other down fall is as the branches grow down they blow and get into the gel also, so then when I trim anything in that area, I’m getting to a bit of a sticky mess. I don’t really regret it at this point. But the ease of install up front, kind of lost its shine by the mess after. I think this stuff is awesome and definitely works if you know what your in for. Pros: Easy to use. Works great at keeping the birds away. Not visibly noticeable. Cons: Sticky is an understatement. It’s a mess if you touch it or gets on what you don’t want it on. Once it’s installed, it’s a (near impossible) mess to remove. It does not go very far. My larger tree branch’s needed multiple beads. 10’ then turns in 5’ or even into 2.5’ on the really thick areas. Trimming the tree and regrowth into the gelled areas is a mess.

Amazing!
I’ve tried everything to keep the birds from nesting in our gazebo. This is the only thing I’ve found to work. Finally no more twigs and bird poop.

Dont use
I bought this product as i thought it would be a more humain option. Been having problems with pigeons crapping all over trellis. They still go on it but this morning found a dead bird stuck to it. Wont be using it again, and trying to get the sticky gel of is a nightmare. Better option might be the plastic spikes

Deadly to small birds.
This does what it says. However. It kills small birds. So if you want to deter pigeons and don’t mind killing sparrow and robins then go ahead. I won’t use it again and scraped it off the fence where the pigeons land. I don’t want the deaths of hundreds of little birds on my conscience. This stuff is rips out the feathers of small birds. Tears their wings and is essentially like a sticky mouse trap to anything not big enough to pull away. Be warned.

HORRENDOUS DO NOT BUY
Honestly, dealing with the bird poo is better than this stuff. It's near on impossible to remove from certain surfaces. I applied it to my balcony and it created more of a mess than the birds. It's messy and the birds still sat on the balcony anyway. Plus insects get stuck to it. It's really awful stuff.

Amazing stuff
Ok so I never review products on here but felt compelled to review this one. We have 2 X pergolas and birds would land on this and poo all over the decking. It was Relentless. We bought this and put this on and now birds no go no where near it. I have only ever seen 2 birds land on it and immediately got distressed and flew off. I can't recommend this stuff enough it's magic and so easy to use

Not for use if small birds in area
Unfortunately had to return the item as instructions said it was dangerous to small birds. Want to encourage small birds into the garden and discourage pigeons.
