Needs the right setup for spinning reels

Keep in mind that if you want to use this with a spinning reel you should use light monofilament (4-6 lb) on a fast action rod. You'll also want a slip bobber rigged about 4 feet up from the lure. When you cast it make sure you load the rod up and whip it out, kind of like fly fishing. Once its on the water hold the rod tip low, and whip the rod tip down to make the popper dart forward and squirt water. I've caught tiny largemouth bass to big bull bluegills with this lure. The lure seems to hold up,and it's fairly weedless since the hook points up and it sits on top the water. It has a good Mustad hook which is fairly sharp. Be aware that some fish may take the lure partly in their mouth and not hook up, or strike your bobber, or even the bead below the bobber. But when a fish hits the lure hard on top of the water it's pretty exciting. If the fish aren't particularly aggressive, it still tends to bring them in so you can try something else.
