Nice
The length is exactly as I was hoping! I did not notice in the picture the chain was a bronze color. (I will be replacing that). The pendant is pretty but, imho, not BJ quality. Very wearable.

Makes a statement.
This was a gift. Something the recipient had been wanting. She loved it. Gave it four stars on the quality question because I felt the quality wasn't quite up to the price. However, this is a large, clear, lucite heart with stones on it. Designed by Betsey Johnson who certainly has her own style. Learned about her five years ago. So I'm fine with the price. This necklace makes a statement as does much of her work.

Ok. But not what I expected
I agree that the chain is ugly, bulky and looks tarnished. The heart isn't clear but murky looking like the other reviews. The stones inside the lucite are much larger and protrude in a cheap way. Delivered in a couple days and when I read the specs again I noticed a $10 decrease in price. Wow. Sorry. It's still to expensive for this piece of jewelry. I'm disappointed since I bought it for my wedding ring to hang since I recently became a widow.

Looks nice
I bought it for a gift and I liked it for myself. So, I told my husband that he could order one for my Christmas gift. I wouldn't describe the pendant as crystal clear; more opaque. It picks up the color of the material behind it. So, if it's white then it appears clear. I also like the long chain.

Very chunky. Old lady-ish
I was expecting it to be very posh and stylish. The glass or plastic used is kind of cloudy. The person that glued the rind stones on it missed a couple spots and the lines were off. I guess I expected more from the brand. Very expensive for what it is.

Daughter loves it
I was unsure of the authenticity of this necklace. It was a gift for my daughter along with the matching earrings. She says they are real. It looks real to me and is very pretty. The necklace is bigger than I thought. And I certainly paid "real" prices for them! But she loves it.

Way Bigger than it Looks
If the pendant were smaller and the chain thinner, this would be great, but the heart is comically large and the chain is really thick and long. I just cannot imagine a scenario where someone would want to wear this on purpose. To be fair, it's definitely sturdy and durable, but it's aesthetically gaudy.
