Quality bag

Exceeds expectations - quite the elegant bag.

I was looking for a bag for my mom’s hospital stay -- something decent and a leather look-a-like. I didn’t want her to use her Rawlings weekender as hospitals are notorious for theft. That said, I bought a leather look-a-like last week (not this bag - another bag with a similar design) and it looked nothing like the photo and the stench was just horrendous! I thought well maybe all of the PU leather bags will have that stench and not be up to par. I set my expectations low for this bag in anticipation but to my surprise when I opened the box yesterday for this bag -- the bag itself it was prompted me to write this review. This bag is amazing! It is very well constructed. The zipper is heavy duty and strong and very smooth. The inside has a lining that was unexpectedly nice. No stench. This bag does not smell foul. This bag is rather elegant actually. Nice big size, does not flop over when empty. It comes with a sturdy shoulder strap and I will not have the worry if anyone steals this bag. Well actually, it would upset me if they did steal this bag has stunner qualities. Not leather but far exceeds expectations on every level. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great Gift

I bought this for as a surprise birthday gift for my 35 yr old som. He travels often and was happy he received it. He said it is sturdy and it holds much of what he needs for weekend getaway. That was almost a year ago. I still get hugs for it!!!

My go to carry on

I’ve had this bag for years! Currently using on my trip right now. It’s still not breaking down on me or wearing or tearing. This is a great duffle. Happy I purchased; I would buy for others & I definitely approve for others to buy for themselves.

Defective Shoulder Strap

Overall I like this Ben Sherman overnight duffle. It has a surprisingly large amount of space in it. I travel A LOT for work, mainly between Hawai'i and California and this is perfect for 3-4 days (I'm a thrifty/light packer). Seems durable, looks good, nice space and small internal compartments. My only complaint is that the shoulder strap clasps are broken - won't move, not even by some moderate to heavy force - like the hinge is welded shut. Definitely knocks down the rating a lot for me.

Perfect gift

Recently I had a family member diagnosed with cancer and they would be undergoing treatment. I wanted to show my support and remembered they complained about using an old duffle to carry with them to treatment. When I send this bag to them, I received a photo and a text raving about how great the bag was! They loved it! Said is was roomy, sturdy, and stylish!
