It’s ok - but my granddaughter loves it

Less than sturdy and not very creative - just has a brush a a few barrettes That being said, my 4 year old granddaughter loved it

Cute but disappointed

It's cute but was a little disappointing that my poor niece was trying to play with her hair but it kept falling over being very light.

My nieces loves it!!

Didn’t get a photo but it is exactly as advertised! The only thing is my niece would complain how she couldn’t do the Barbie’s hair unless someone held the Barbie for her because there’s nothing to keep her in place. Maybe suction cups underneath the dolls head to stick it to the table would do it!

This does not stand up on it's own while trying to put makeup on. It's not kid friendly. I would not buy this again. Waste of money.

The Barbie Dreamtopia mermaid styling head was an awesome gift for my niece! She plays with it often and loves her!

You're paying for the name - plus the dimensions are for the box, rather than the head itself!

So, I've read a few reviews which say 'you don't get what you see' and that it's 'not the same size'. What I would say is: (1) The Barbie styling head we received looks exactly like the one shown in the product photos. (2) It is a decent size, though doesn't match the dimensions given on the product page. - The page gives dimensions as 38.1 x 10.2 x 27.9 (cm), from what I can tell these are the measurements of the box it comes in. Measuring the head I make it, approximately, 14cm from shoulder to shoulder, and 20cm from base to top of crown. As mentioned in other reviews, you're paying for the name, is it worth £25? Not really, and you can get something similar from other store for a fraction of the price. But, the Barbie brand carries some clout and kids will likely prefer this one to non-branded versions. There is a decent range of accessories to keep the young'uns busy, but as you'd expect they are just generic plastic pieces. Our nieces enjoyed playing with it and styling the hair but I think they'd be happy with a cheaper model to be honest. Ultimately it's the same as any other styling head just with the Barbie name.

Fun, promotes creativity and style to young girls

I like that this Barbie promotes creativity and widens the imagination of kids. My 4-yr old niece gets so excited to play with it. I teach her to make her hair simple and neat. With the help of this Barbie, she's learning how to self-care. I get to teach her how to do different braids, pony and pigtails. The barrettes and gems are interchangeable so the kids learn how to make their own decision in styling. The quality of the Barbie head is good. The sometimes tangles but still manageable. It's size is as big as a big man's fist. This toy is for kids who stop putting things in their mouth as the gems came with this toy can easily be swallowed.

Small, cheap, light.

Not a normal size for one of these styling heads. Too light for it to stay in place for even brushing. Cheap looking.

Limited accessories

The styling head itself is nice, but I wish it came with a few more accessories. We bought some extra bits to go along with it like some colourful clips, a brush and some sparkly hair bobbles. We also put some hair glitter on it and soak colours. It washed out fine. This is a nice toy, but at 24.99 at the time I ordered it, I wish it came with a few more accessories
