So pretty
This Barbie has the softest hair of any I've ever purchased. It was a tiny bit rough out of the box, but a brush and a dip on hot water she's *perfect*. So soft and straight. I don't like the curvy style, so I rebodied her, and she's beautiful as a petite pixie with her butterflies and bright colours. I use her koala as a plushie to decorate her room.

I Love Lilac-colored hair
...and that's why I bought her. She is a curvy Barbie which I didn't pay attention to when I purchased her. I mention that because, to me, it is difficult to find clothes that fit curvy Barbies. I find that it is a hit/miss and guess project when trying to find clothes to fit these dolls. To me, even when I was a kid, the fun of Barbie dolls is to dress them up. Unfortunately, what I find is a whole bunch of toy thingies that they have warnings about them for the little ones in these Barbie Extra doll packages, for example -- but little to no extra clothes. I would prefer extra outfits as opposed to the little toy ka-thingies -- the little dogs/cats, etc. Give her a couple of pairs of shoes, and a couple of outfits, and I'm there. Overall, this is a pretty doll and the one outfit she is wearing and has is nice and colorful. Her hair is long, which I love. I was not disappointed other than the lack of outfits.

She's Ok
Her hair is very disappointing. I've seen reviews of this doll and they raved about her hair. The doll I received has very poor hair quality. Feels very much like cheap, play line, and yes, I know this IS a play line, but my other Barbie Extras have very nice hair! So I don't get it! Also, I thought her hair color was going to be an Icy lavender-blue. My doll has light blue hair. It's pretty, but nothing to write home about. Her face is really pretty, but I kinda wish I'd saved my money. *shrug*

Cute! but missing a wow factor
Love the lilac hair, 3D sweater, and butterfly clips!! I do think that for the price she should either have more than one interesting clothing piece or have better quality hair.

Cute doll with good quality control
This doll is so cute, and I got exactly what I expected. The fabric on the shorts seems a little cheap, but the cardigan is really nice. The quality control is great--good hairline, screening on the face is good, no stray threads on the clothing, everything looks symmetrical and neat, the hairstyle was done neatly. The butterfly hair clips are actually tiny bobby pins that could be removed but are sewn in place, which is a nice detail for kids. My only complaint is that the hair came somewhat tangled and messy, but I was able to brush it out without too much fuss. If you're OK with that and you like the design, I think you'll be very satisfied with this doll.

Hair is an issue
Was washing her hair cause her hair was a mess when I opened her! But as I was brushing it out hair was coming out! Lovely doll tho! Still love her! Hair is still messy from washing it!

Better than expected
I originally bought her for her clothes, but after a week I decided to put her on a made to move body and sort her hair out, an omg I love her, she’s so pretty, her hair is nice quality not like regular Barbie extra dolls, she’s now in my top 10 displayed Barbies, the stock photos do not give her justice at all, in the pics u will see I trimmed her hair, I felt it was too long, but that just my preference x

Dreadful Hair
I'm writing this review from the perspective of an adult collector. These day's I mostly only buy vintage Barbie dolls but our lilac haired friend here caught my eye. I was actually waiting for her to be released here and couldn't wait to order her when she finally did become available. Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed. The quality of her hair is awful. When I first removed her from the box, her hair was very dry and slightly tangled. Naturally, I got to work brushing her hair in a bid to improve its appearance. The brushing just made it puff out into a frizzy ball. The little cardigan she is wearing is nice and is actually made from a good quality material. This is the thing that got adult collectors excited all over social media. It's pretty sad because back in the 90s an item of clothing like this was the norm for Barbie. It's sad to see that the quality of the Barbie dolls Mattel are releasing is so poor, that a simple little cardigan is now special. The rest of the outfit is alright, I don't find the shorts particularly flattering. The butterfly hair clips and ring are cute and she has a lovely for sure. I don't recommend this doll for children. Her hair is already so awful, a child's rough play would probably finish it off entirely. If you have a young child, buy them cheaper fashionista. An older child would probably appreciate a well looked after vintage doll or one from the collectors line, both of which can easily be found online.
