It’s as it says, basic
Look, for around 15$-20$, It does the job. I normally use it as a small travel bag to hold my hand towel, tissues, external battery, phone cables, sun glasses, and other small handy items I use on the norm. It’s not a fluffy cloud in terms of comfort, but definitely nothing to complain about. It’s not water proof or water resistant, but it will at least protect your things from light - normal rain for a bit. Exposed to long periods of rain, any kind of heavy rain or just accidentally dropping it in a puddle is asking for your things to get wet. There is also no kind of soft cushion, so if your drop it, anything fragile inside will probably break. If anything sharp or pointy runs into it, it will probably rip. I use it about once a week and the Amazon basics logo is practically falling off by now, but I can’t say that I treat it like a new born baby either. At this price point, you’re are not getting anything high quality or long lasting, let’s be real. In all honesty, it does the job at the most acceptable level and I’m okay with that. If you are not trying to spend 80$+ on a bag, this will do you just fine for your non valuables for a couple years or so. It’s perfect for a gym bag if your just want to put a pair of extra clothes and gym shoes in it.

Excellent, versatile use bag!
We bought one of these for mom as a packable day pack 4 years ago and it is still the go-to bag for many uses in our family. It has not shown any signs of wear and has been used as a backpack for overnight camping or travel, a day pack folded inside a larger pack for a longer trip, a sports bag for the kids' gear. The kids like it as a light day-hiking pack with more comfortable straps and more compartments than a string bag but without the expense or narrowness of a hiking day pack. Great purchase, and we are getting a couple more so the kids stop taking mom's!

Light and easy
Exactly what I wanted- an unstructured, unlined bag that can be compressed into a pouch when not in use, and just as easily unfurled for a day of site seeing or other activity where something more robust is not needed. I really like the shade of green as well.

Center top Strap ripped after one trip
Used it for 10 days traveling and it worked great but on the way home that top strap ripped off on one side.

Light and convenient
I keep this with me for toting odd things for times when I'm alone and on foot and have three things that need to be carried, to quote Mason Williams. It seems to hold up nicely.

Perfect, light weight
I travelled about Europe for over 30 days and had zero issues with this bag. I recommend a dark color so that people cannot see any items in the bag. Mine was orange.

Great price, well made.
I purchased this for an extended journey where I would be taking many daily walking and bus tours in villages, towns, and cities. I would be "layering" clothing throughout the day and needed something to stuff lightweight sweaters, jackets, scarves, mittens, flip flops, small purchases, etc. in. I wanted a flexible, squishy backpack that I could stuff into my larger main travel suitcase without adding too much weight and taking up too much space. This worked perfectly. It was very inexpensive, well made, had a variety of pockets and zippers, and held up while being tossed about. This is lightweight, floppy, not stiff, and comfortable to wear. I wore this on my back or over one shoulder. It is not waterproof or security proof. I was happy with this purchase as it met my expectations.

Simple and packs away small
Will be careful not to overload it as I have no idea how strong it will be. It weighs nothing so can be folded into its own pouch and carried in a pocket or handbag.

Not the lightest, but one of the more practical and robust available.
This is not the lightest or most compact packable ruck sacks available but in my opinion it is one of the better ones. This is constructed from much more robust material than many of the ones on the market and very importantly all of the seams (the most likely weak spot) are reinforced. The double layered straps are also better than the straps on many similar products. The 2 mesh bottle carriers are probably unnecessary and I would not attempt to carry more than a pint bottle in each one of them. The small internal pocket is potentially useful for storing small items like keys,wallet or phone securely The larger pocket on the outside is again just adding weight for very little benefit. Obviously this ruck sack is not waterproof (well over 99% are not in the real world no matter what the makers claim) but a cheap 10 litre dry bag/sack will easily address this (if it is an issue). I mainly use this for carrying waterproofs in good weather, as well as things like dog treats and a water bowl. In changeable weather I carry this in a rain jacket pocket then if the rain stops or it becomes noticeably warmer I can place the jacket and possibly the mid layer in this pack and continue the journey in much greater comfort.

Very good travel backpack.
I purchased this to use on a recent trip to Singapore. It rolls up really tiny to fit in your carry on our suitcase, not taking up much space at all. When opened, it becomes a fully functional, lightweight backpack. The straps are a mesh material to allow a bit of airflow you your shoulders, which is nice. The side pouches are indesiepsible for water bottles, and there is a nice zipped compartment on the inside ideal for Passports and other small important items. Now, this bag has no internal support, so it will be like a floppy bag on your back, but that's expected. It holds a surprising amount as well. I went to a water park with a change of clothes and 2 towels, a camera and water bottles, plus a few other things, and it all fit in nicely. And that was with the smaller of the 2 option sizes. I wore the bag all day for 6 days straight, and the main seam on the underside of the bag is showing a little wear, so I'm not sure about the bags longevity, but for £13 for a bag that you can take anywhere in the world, even for a single holidays worth or use, I think it is good value. I would buy another for my next holiday if needed, that's for sure.

Lightweight and portable bag.
Light and you can scrunch it up when it's empty, so it's easy to carry in another bag/ pocket. Only problem is it's not waterproof and you can't put any sharpish items in it as the bag punctures easily. Also the internal zip pocket needs to be several cm wider and a little stronger or thicker.
