My daughter gave this to my son for Christmas

My boy loved digging for the stones. The crystal making experiment didn't turn out anything like the photos. We haven't yet tried the volcano.

Limited experiments in this set

I purchased this item for a 9-year-old based on the number of experiments listed on the box. The product is easy to use but the variability of experiments is *seriously* limited based on what the product promises to deliver. Please expect many variations on a theme.

Great to discover the STEM Process

This is a great product and includes several ways for students to use the engineering process. In addition, for 4th and 5th graders, student can discover the engineering (STEM) process: ASK – Define the problem. IMAGINE – Brainstorm solutions. PLAN – Consider how to best solve the problem. CREATE – Construct your solution. TEST – Determine how well your solution works. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product.

Great gift for my grandson

My grandson loves everything that has to do with magnets. This was one of his Christmas gifts and my daughter says it’s one that he plays with more than any of the others

Cheap Junk

I feel guilty saying this, but this magnet set was cheap junk. I can't figure out why this item got so many good reviews. Please take my advice and search for a better magnet set. Both you and your child will be disappointed. Sorry.
