Great for pizza and tortillas

I have a small griddle and a pizza stone, but I wanted something bigger to use when making large, thin tortillas. This 15 inch pan really does the job well. It heats up quickly on the gas range burner, doesn't seem to have any problem with hot or cool spots. I also use it in the oven as a replacement for my pizza stone, and so far it's exceeding expectations. The pan is sturdy without being too heavy, and the handles make it easy to move when needed. I've never had a problem with food sticking to the surface, and I'm looking forward to using it with a wider variety of foods. I really like this pan. It's a great value, and I wish I'd bought it sooner.

WOW.... I cannot believe I waited so long to purchase and use a cast iron pizza pan.

I have extensively used and own many types of cast iron cookware, but this is my first pizza pan and I can tell you this thing is great for home oven use or outdoor grill. The pan is well made and factory seasoned well enough to keep food from sticking. It will only get better with time.

Great for making pizzas at home

I have used this thing about 25 times to make pizzas. I have been oiling this then rolling the pizza dough out directly on the pan. Then, adding sauce and toppings. I have been using premade dough from my local grocery store, leaving it out for about 2 hours, then rolling it out onto this pan. 400 degrees for about 20 minutes has been perfect every time for me. The crust has been perfect.

The handle was broken, but still can be used. Please package around the handles better. So, that when handled, rough treatment around handles will not stress and/or break them. UPS deliveries are out in the country first; so, never know how handled or banged around. But, when they get to us the boxes are good and dusty.

Lodge 15" Pizza Pan

Excellent pizza pan! Easy to clean, no sides except two handles! The crust turns out with even Browning and crisp depending on what crust you make.

Just buy this thing.

You know good and well you’re going to use it to reheat leftover pizza mostly. But even when you make your own. This is a game changer. Preheat it in the oven before you put anything on it. And man it just works. Love it.

Makes great pizza

I use cast iron for almost everything but didn’t have a cast iron pizza pan. Bought this because I have found Lodge to be very good. The pizza came out perfect. I was concerned because I have a 30 inch oven but I measured before I bought. It sits with the handles corner to corner perfectly. I know it will get lots of use. Fairly heavy so just know that

Comme au restaurant, mais à la maison!

En faisant chauffer un peu la plaque dans le four avant d'y déposer la pizza, elle fait un résultat incroyable! Une pâte croustillante comme en restaurant et cuit plutôt uniformément! Beau rapport qualité prix. Je recommande!

Great quality indeed, I was concerned about quality while ordering but when it arrived I had a big smile in my face. Just what I was looking for. I have not used it yet but definitely looking forward to it. The Size, weight of cast Iron made, are just how the seller has described.
